Queen of the South (2016)
Oh the Spanish!
Do not make non-Mexican people speak large Spanish sentences!! I rather see it all in English with the occasional word or expression in Spanish than hear a non-Mexican or non-Bolivian or whatever saying the full sentences, if a character is supposed to be native it kills the scene when you can obviously tell they are not!!
Also Teresa is the worst queenpin or drug lady ever, every single decision she mades is stupid.
The best characters at least more lovable were Pote and Kelly Ann, I was genuinely worried about them all the time.
The show is entertaining but not binge worthy, I got exhausted of Teresa's stupidity.
Prey (2022)
This is awesome!
I don't get the haters, well I do, they are quite misogynistic, I read one that says it is dangerous to let girls believe they can beat men, well this girl was not ordinary, she had trained, she had learned from her brother, prepared herself, she was smart and used her brain to her advantage, she studied the enemy and used their weaknesses in her favor. This movie is awesome.
Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
A comedy, and not a good one
If you enjoy those silly comedies you will enjoy this. I don't love comedy that much, but I believe I would have enjoyed this if our lead Thor was not so stupid, he went from lovable to just an idiot, and sadly they turned Jane into a really silly character as well. The best parts of the movie are the more serios ones, Christian Bale is great, the movie looks gorgeous, but oh the comedy is so dumb.
Legacies (2018)
Buffy did it better
What I like about legacies is that it is its own show, it does not resemble the vampire diaries nor the originals, although it does resemble Buffy a lot. Hope is likable, but the Malivore\Landon story wears out after two seasons, the necromancer becomes annoying after a few episodes and he is in for so so long! The beauty of Buffy was in the storylines season after season, there were some annoying characters (looking at you Dawn!) but the lead ones were so lovable!
Legacies has some nice characters but they get some very annoying storylines, the twins can get pretty repetitive and annoying, and they get more screen time being annoying than likable.
The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020)
A ghost story
A lot of people are hating on this because it is not scary, ghosts stories are not necessarily scary, this is a love story, the problem was the advertising. The show is well acted, has an interesting plot, a few twists here and there, overall it is nice.
Morbius (2022)
The 10s are so fake!
The movie is boring, it makes no sense, full of plot holes, it is bad acted, specially by Jared Leto, the detectives are stupid and the after credits is dumb, also they actually believed there would be a second one!
The extra star is just because the visual effects are not terrible.
The Originals (2013)
Annoying and repetitive
Vampire diaries was silly at times, fun and sometimes a bit annoying, but had its charm and though you could hate some characters there were always characters to love.
The originals is really annoying, Klaus is the oldest most immature supernatural being ever, and his family becomes equally annoying, the stories are so repetitive, we are enemies, now we are friends, now we are enemies again, oh no a new bad guy let's be allies, I will swear to kill you but never actually do it over and over again. I started skipping episodes just to get the main story, didn't miss a thing.
The Vampire Diaries: We Have History Together (2017)
Repetitive
This is so repetitive by now, villains and high school, Stephan the reaper, just kill everyone already or leave, how many times has Stephan fallen into his reaper side? How many villains have to go to high school either as teachers, students, using it as storage for humans? Too many, that is the answer.
The Vampire Diaries: Days of Future Past (2016)
Why?
So there's this vampire huntress that not so long ago killed at least five vampires without blinking, has two vampires in custody, and she decides to negotiate? Why? Because Stephan is good? Lady, you did not stop to see if the other vampires were good, why now? How long ago did she mention that she had to follow her father's vision? A world without vampires. I know they are our leads and you cannot just kill them but story-wise it does not make sense! Got two there, no need to talk, kill them! As a writer you don't want to kill the leads? Fine! Find the more logical way to save them, this one was not logical at all!!
The Walking Dead: Morning Star (2020)
Stupid hilltop people
I'm so angry at the hilltop people! You knew there was a horde, you knew Alpha was going to attack, and you had so much time to prepare a good defense, yet you waited until the last minute!!
How I Met Your Mother (2005)
Upon a rewatch...
The series was a solid eight when I saw it the first time, the first two seasons were the best, it got a bit downhill from there, and the final season was just dreadful, yet I did not punish the entire series based on that season, I was in the hate the ending team also. Upon a rewatch I disliked the series a bit more in general, my favorite character is Marshal, Lily being a strong second, Barney was always funny and Ted and Robin were just OK, what changed after rewatch is that the ok characters became really annoying, Barney became disturbing, I just could not stand Robin and Ted, he was just unbearable. Funny thing, though I continued to hate the last season, the ending did not seem as bad, my major pet peeve, why do you focus a whole season into a wedding of two characters you'll divorce, I agree with people saying it was obvious they would not last, but still, it was a whole damn season!.
Spencer (2021)
No thank you
Compared to the Diana we can see in the crown this Diana is just mentally unstable for the sake of being so.
The music is annoying, Kirsten S really needs to learn how to breathe through her nose, the whispering is awful, she overacts most the time, so no, thank you.
Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life (2016)
Yes overachievers sometimes fail in real life
Upon a re-watch I don't really get the bad reviews, this revival is not perfect but it is not so bad.
The bad: Almost no Sookie, and way too little Jess time.
It didn't make sense that Sookie was not on the wedding, I get it, Melissa M had scheduling conflicts but come on! A bit of effort to make it happen would've made a big difference.
The weird: Rory and Logan. Yes the whole affair was not my cup of tea, I'm not against a casual thing but having Logan engaged and cheating with Rory, and her cheating on that boyfriend everyone kept forgetting, something was off there. The brigade and the wedding magical montages, not sure that was Gilmore Girls. Luke acting a bit ignorant on the surrogate thing. And Zach looking older than Gil.
The OK: Town people as crazy as ever. Kirk being Kirk. I liked Lorelai's epiphany trip. Rory not being the success everyone predicted, I liked that, it is realistic, many overachievers fail at their first or second attempts, and at the end you get the feeling this is it, the book is the door.
The best: Hands down Emily, her whole story was great.
He's All That (2021)
Watched it while playing solitaire
Yes, it is that bad, the extra star is because it was an ok movie as background noise, and the girl from the old she's all that was in it, missed opportunity though, playing a different character.
Maze Runner: The Death Cure (2018)
Really Thomas? Really?!!
I enjoyed the movie overall, but come on! Some of the decisions pf the lead character Thomas are so damn stupid!
Oh you just learned your blood is the cure (shocking!), gotta get back to Teresa in the middle of a war! Dude!
Teresa was the worst and Thomas was still so infatuated with her, I actually enjoyed her death a lot.
Veronica Mars (2004)
Watching for the third time
So as many others I did not loved the ending in season 4, but I see too much punishment to the whole series. My favorite season is the first one and then it goes a little down from there, but still I loved it all, Kristen Bell, the mysteries, the complex characters, everything, I guess shipping Veronica and Logan makes people hate on the time they are not happy together, I loved them, but the show is not about their pairing.
Roswell, New Mexico: Sex and Candy (2020)
Nonsense after nonsense
That threesome was straightforward fan fiction writing, let me guess, whoever wrote this was a fan of the original and had some unresolved bisexual fantasies? Nothing against threesomes but this was so out of character for Maria and Alex that fell wrong!
Also the whole amnesiac Max and Liz situation is nonsensical, hell their whole romance makes no sense at all.
Roswell, New Mexico: Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space (2020)
Gotta agree with Rosa
The love story between Liz and Max makes no sense!
10 years of not seeing each other, yes they had a little romance before that, but if I see my old crush after 10 years there's no reason to fall in love immediately, and even less after what he did to Rosa, how can you feel love for a guy that covered your sister's murder by turning her into a murder at the eyes of the whole town, all the pain this caused her dad!! That is some ungrateful daughter right there, some traitor sister.
Had the story line be a little different I might've bought the reunion love.
I would've done the same, let Max suffer!
Also the fact that Rosa was going relapse was so obvious that I cannot believe Liz was not worried about it, she is the worst sister ever.
Roswell, New Mexico (2019)
No chemistry
The story is not terrible but the actors have no chemistry at all.
I can't buy any of the pairings, can't even buy the friendships nor fraternity.
The whole Noah story was actually interesting, little suspense, a bit obvious but nonetheless interesting, the actor that plays Kyle and the one that plays Michael are not so bad, they hace charisma, but that's about it.
Riverdale (2017)
How is this still getting renewed?
It all went downhill after season 1, up to this point I can't understand why is this still getting renewed, specially when so many good shows get cancelled.
Superman & Lois (2021)
Can't stand the Jordan kid
It is not too bad, acting is not great but the story is decent, but lord the Jordan kid is so annoying, I feel no sympathy for him at all, all that bad acted drama! And his character is not the best written either. Just stop focusing on him.
Update: gotta admit Luthor made me give it an extra star.
Friends: The Reunion (2021)
Was James Corden really necessary?
I didn't love it, I'll dare to say I liked Fresh Prince of Bel Air one better.
I can't stand James Corden, liked some bits where the guys are talking without the guy interviewing them.
It could've been so much better.
Selena: The Series: Oh No (2021)
Finally some Selena
We finally get to see Selena and how she struggled managing her time and just being am adult without her father doing everything business wise. The main issue for me is, she is so so annoying, I'm starting to think the problem is the actress' voice, too childish, I was not enough of a Selena fun to remember her from interviews and such but man that giggly, childish voice annoys me so much.
Selena: The Series: Opening Act (2020)
WasSelena as annoying as she is portrayed?
It is clear that Selena is not the main character in the series named after her, but the major offense is that the little screen time she gets, she is portrayed so annoying! Is this the performer's fault, or was Selena actually this annoying?
Nailed It! (2018)
The host can be so annoying
I can watch one episode at a time and enjoy it? But cannot stand more than that without a long break, the hostess is so so annoying, she can ve a little funny at times, but that's about it, the rest of the time She ruins the show.
