The Big Bang Theory: The Hawking Excitation (2012)
Not one I'm particularly fond of
I love the idea of introducing Stephen Hawking to the show, and his introduction is really good. The episode itself on the other hand, not so much. I found Howard a little bit mean in this episode. I mean yes Sheldon is an arrogant, conceited and self-centered person who does think he's better than everyone else, but some of the tasks Howard made him do makes me drag the rating of the episode down a little bit. I feel like this episode would have been better if Raj was paired with Sheldon because I love the dynamic between Raj and Sheldon. I will say this episode still has some good laughs like with Sheldon polishing Howard's belt buckles, Sheldon in the maid costume, Sheldon with Mrs. Wolowitz and him meeting Stephen Hawking. But other than that, it's an episode I might rather skip. It's not a bad or terrible episode, it's just decent at most.
Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 (2015)
Really overhated and underrated film in my opinion! I really like it.
I honestly feel like this movie gets too much hate. When I first watched this movie on DVD, I really enjoyed it. The shots with the Wynn Hotel are amazingly filmed and I love the idea of Paul Blart getting invited to a convention and him stopping criminals from taking art from the hotel. There are a lot of moments in the movie that I crack up at. I know there are some parts that aren't that funny, but still I like that the team was at least trying to come up with this kind of idea. I will say the only bad part in this film was the scene of Paul's mother's death. So overall, this is my favorite Paul Blart movie, and one I feel gets too much hate. I wish this one would get more love and attention.
The Dukes of Hazzard: Brotherly Love (1983)
One of the best episodes of Season 6
What can I say about this amazing episode. This is one of my personal favorites. I love the idea of Luke having a long lost brother who comes to him for help. For the character Jed, I really like him as he fells like a good brother fit for Luke. Though, it's a shame that this is his only appearance in the show and I really wish we could have seen more of him. As for the car chases, they are once again exciting to watch. When Luke almost gets killed but ends up surviving (though blacked out), it leaves you wondering if he would be all right. Of course, we obviously know he will. I know he should have listened to the others warnings to stay, but it does make sense why he didn't because he wanted to help his brother. Also, the underwater shots are quite well filmed and the camera work like in all of season 6 is great. Overall, this is an amazing episode and I recommend it to any Dukes of Hazzard fan.
Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends: Thomas Comes to Breakfast (1986)
One of Thomas's Best Episodes.
This is probably a fan favorite by many among season 2. This pretty much nails Thomas' personality, him being boastful and cocky. That's his season 2 personality in a nutshell. The crash is excellent, the music is awesome and it contains wonderful narration from both Ringo Starr and George Carlin. This is also my favorite season 2 episode with a great crash, excellent humor and loved by a lot of fans. Definitely one of Thomas's best episode and really memorable; such a good episode.
The Big Bang Theory: The First Pitch Insufficiency (2014)
It's really not that bad. In fact, I actually like it
I honestly thought this episode was pretty funny. I like the idea of Howard having the opportunity to play at an Angels Game. I love the shots of Angels Stadium and the bench sets are really well created. It's great having Mike Massimino back and his nickname for Howard is so funny, giving a call back to Season 5. This episode has some funny parts like Bernadette yelling at Howard to throw the ball, Howard's weak throws and Mike's unpleasant advice to Howard. Although, the ending can be a bit cliche. I don't know why a lot of people consider this a poor episode, in fact I think it's pretty good.
The Big Bang Theory: The Raiders Minimization (2013)
One of Season 7's best
A personal favorite of mine. This episode once again nails Sheldon's personality. I really love the idea of Amy ruins Raiders of the Lost Ark (one of Sheldon's favorite movies) and this time, in my reason, Sheldon has a good reason to get back at her. Some might say it may be too harsh, but I think it nails just character. It's Sheldon's personality in a nutshell and I do like to see him get upset with Amy; you don't see that in the show that often. It also gives more development in their relationship. I also love we get to learn more about Leonard's relationship with his mom. It's also great to see her on webcam after her absence from the last season. The comments that Leonard and Penny make about his childhood with his mother are sooooo humorous. It's also great to see Raj and Stuart trying to find women to date. I will say that this episode is the funniest episode in Season 7 and is one of my personal favorites of the entire show.
The Big Bang Theory: The Scavenger Vortex (2013)
Not a good episode in my opinion (Because of Bernadette)
This is just my opinion. I do like the concept of the scavenger hunt in idea. But my main problem is how Bernadette was treated. Bernadette is an absolute idiot to Leonard. All she does is bully him, it's not funny, it's annoying. I just don't understand, why did the writers mess up her persona from being a mature, kind woman to a fierce, unapologetic and mean-spirited person? I may never know. And why would she say lies about Penny insulting Leonard to his face?!!! That is so cruel! Obviously, I feel like Barry Kripke should have been in Bernadette's place since he's the better candidate and have Bernadette help Raj supervise the hunt. Also, I hate the part when Penny treats Raj at the end. I mean, I know Raj made the hunt fun and give the guys the "it's not always about winning, but having fun" thing, but where's the respect she had for him before, that's just so cruel. Are you serious? Also, why couldn't Raj just tell them it was friendly competition from the start, but again, that's just me. For a few good parts, I laughed with Raj on the microphone, Leonard standing up to Bernadette calling her out (she deserved it) and Amy and Howard singing together which those parts did make me chuckle. So overall, not a good episode in my opinion. I know a lot of fans love this episode and that's fine, but for me, this is what I can call the most overrated episode of the show. And again, Bernadette's role should have gone to Kripke as how she was in this episode makes me really frustrated (At least S3-6 got Bernadette right). Sorry writers, but you could have done better than this one and this episode is one I don't consider re-watching again. 4/10.
