Home Improvement (1991)
Today's world needs shows like this again.
I grew up watching this show. And seeing it again reminds me how great our country use to be. Just a show about a family and the issues we all have faced, felt, or have been in. Maybe minus all the house hold accidents! Lol.
But watching this show again reminds me that people didn't take jokes so seriously, when a man dressed as a woman it was funny, when kids picked on there siblings it was life lessons about respecting your family, when parents fought it was a misunderstanding and communication issue that could always be worked out!
Times have changed and this show should be looked at as what the American family should be...
Cobra Kai (2018)
Terrible! Just another joke of a show!!!
Started out good, falling back into where karate kid left off with about a 30 year gap. So you could follow it to a point if you were a kid that grew up to watching the original show.
Then coming the 3rd season which started with fights with no arrest, kids constantly fighting with really no adults stepping in, then came the woke junk! And to top it all off you have cobra Kai taking over other peoples businesses?
Does anyone really follow this story line? Do we just ignore logic?
No one cares this much about karate lol. I mean let's be real here. This is just trying to ride the wave another creator made.
Why does Netflix's always have to hire writers to ruin shows?
Can't you come up with something new or it's just ok stealing someone else's ideas and people eating it up like it's awesome because if you look at this show it's pretty bad. Like almost terrible if you really take a step back and watch it... what a joke.
Two Distant Strangers (2020)
Misinformation!!!!
First I'll start by saying the message that's coming across in this short is wrong because there is no evidence to support what most black people think about cops!
White men are actually killed more in America armed or unarmed! That's a fact, George Floyd is a criminal and shouldn't be made a mortar because he doesn't deserve that kind of attention!
George Floyd once held a gun to a pregnant black woman's stomach threading to Kill her while him and others robbed her house!
The acting in this short was good! The randomness of this with no story line before to explain why he's stuck in a loop is odd. But you can make up your own theory at the end because the cop knew all about it. So you could think maybe it's something he was trying to help him learn, or one of the gods with a twisted prank. Regardless the whole meaning of this film and view point from the guy waking up should of been different and not made about race.
You could look at it that some people just shouldn't be cops, that there are just bad police that were bullied and they wanted to have power to bully others and race doesn't play a roll in it.
So with that I rate this a 5!!
Would of been higher given a better back story and more build up of each character! But that would of made this a full length movie and maybe there wasn't enough money to do that?
Ground hog day type movies are interesting, boss level was like that but you got to find out what was going on.
The Sandman: 24/7 (2022)
This was just disturbing!
Well this was just unnecessary and doesn't make sense to the story line at all.
Just Netflix's trying to make something work to the personal preferences of the writers.
Sad.
Keep Breathing (2022)
So many things wrong with this
First, Sam doesn't know how to swim but is a outdoor photographer for National Geographic?
Sam automatically knew he would bleed out and that a tourniquet needed to be made.
Also swimming with shoes on while pulling a body isn't easy. This from the beginning just doesn't add up.
And from the other reviews I'm just going to stop watching it after 21 minutes. Great job Netflix's lol.
The Last Kingdom (2015)
The honor and word of a single man will leave you wanting more
Masterpiece!
Every character is so well written, you won't want to stop watching. You feel the pain of the ones you want to feel for.
How a man grows to stand by his word is something you wish could be a honor to know. To follow. To fight for.
His word means everything and he just wants to be treated a equal because he put everything on the line to get it.
The bond between Alfred and Uhtred is unbroken. Love hate relationship, not knowing or understanding each other yet they still saw the respect in one another.
Uhtred lost his family twice, lost his first child to miscarriage, then lost his first born son to sickness/witchcraft!
Lost his shadow queen to war, his wife to child birth. Every person he's ever loved taken away from him.
Simply a beautiful show. I'm so many ways. You can say others have maybe more like GOT but they also used other types of things to keep you engaged. This show only follows history.
The Last Kingdom: Episode #3.9 (2018)
Honor and respect I wish was around today
This show is so well written and acted that it really does put every other show to shame.
To find a way to show the sacrifice of a single man and how king Alfred finally showed his respect to uhtred in such a beautiful way got to me.
You always knew king Alfred respected uhtred, with the way he stood there during most of his losses. His young child, the death of his shadow queen, Alfred was there, even if he took his kids to the church it was also to make sure they were protected because of everything he whitenesses uhtred had been through.
I hope these type of shows come to be made.
The 355 (2022)
Horrible movie
Can't take this movie seriously!
Good reason it lost so much money at the box office.
Trying to make a movie like this with people that just don't fit the part was a mistake..
