Not for Karens.

Cronenberg is back. Despite the plot is curiously straightforward and easy to follow (like he tried to be "understandable" by the simple minded part of audience but reading other reviews clearly he overestimated them) there are many elements to analyze during the movie; art, philosophy, technology, dumb behaviours by those humans unable to manage a world evolving too fast for their inadequacy. Worst performance was by Kirsten Stewart, she totally failed her character like an absolute beginner. I was ashamed for her... Embarassing.

Perfectly showcasing partnerships and very typical interactions among italians, the two protagonists Cortellesi and Pennacchi - usually great italian comedians, but here so good in a drama! - just wear their characters so naturally you suspect they're acting... themselves. Petra never tries to be a bad, embarassing copy of american crime tv series, but rather offers another option in this genre, tight to the beautiful scenario and people in Genoa (Rome as well, in last episode).
