This movie had the potential to be one of my favourite films in recent years. A well-executed action movie with Michael Caine, Colin Firth as a brilliant James Bond-esque character, Samuel L. Jackson as an original (and funny) villain, two awesome female characters (one who was bloody scary) and jaw-dropping fight scenes. It grabbed my attention from the very start and then kept it...until the end, where it devolved into yet another boring, sexist, "pandering to the f*ckboys" film, where women are prizes for a job well done, and are literally just a**holes to f*ck. It tried so hard not to be "that kind of movie", and ended up being exactly that kind of movie, but without the Bond charm or romance.
