Hawkeye: Never Meet Your Heroes (2021)
Women In Dresses Are Not Weak
I was enjoying it ok enough, but when Eleanor tells Kate to a dress for the event and she agreed my girlfriend I cheered, because nowadays no women in media ever wear a dress because it's seen as conformist or such form of basicness and cowardice, but the very next scene it's made a point that she refuses to wear a dress, and I really wish writers could understand how anti-feminist this is, they seem to think it is particularly feminist to put a woman in a masculine outfit, but at this point in our modern world it is in fact the opposite, it implies to every young girl watching that you can not be strong and in a dress, that cool women do not wear dresses. I understand that they are trying to be inclusive and inform Kate's character as a tough chick, but it is horribly damaging and extremely common in media today.
Angel: Unleashed (2003)
SPIKE IS GOING TO HELL
Fred just constantly neglects Spike! The dude is pleading, begging her as he is LITERALLY being sent to HELL! The entire episode she just doesn't seem to think it's a huge deal, and the near the end of the episode she realizes oh no it's serious!! And she declares she is truly going to do whatever it takes to save him. I don't know if they just cut this incorrectly in editing or if they just forgot that the scene had happened but right after Fred is just chilling with the boys, "let's order chinese!" HahAhAhaHahahA Soooo funny!! THE MAN IS GOING TO HELL!

Autism saves the day!
I'm autistic, whenever a show declares a character is autistic I always prepare to cringe at it's depiction. Early in this show's run I actually appreciated Curtis's character and the depiction of autism as a condition. But then this episode comes along and much like dozens of shows before it, it explains the SUPER POWER that is autism! Only in this show the autistic people aren't genius doctors or card counters, they have the power to connect with dogs unlike anyone else! Fun show, cute dogs, compelling enough characters who are well acted, but man I'm so tired of this misconception that autism creates secret savant powers.
