The Sinner (2017)
..so you want a mystery?
..this must be "The Sinner" franchises Flagship.
You get all the bits and pieces from the other seasons:
the murder mystery
Det. Ambrose at his finest
the small town secrets
Twist and turns
Its a slowburner in a good way..with lots of suspects.
There is an eerie vibe in this town, where Ambrose and his girlfriend spends the vacation.
The local police handle the case very clumsy..
I think this an awesome season a very good crime mystery with all incl.
A mix of Twin Peaks, True Detectives and the Killing.
I binged these 8 episodes very fast..as told before, this season peaked..simply the best!
..hope to see a 5th season.
The X Files (1993)
Pilot episode still gives me the creeps
Its 100% that the very first episode of xfiles was very eerie and creepy. Back in 93' there was nothing like this show..period.
The pilot stands alone on many ways...the Xfiles theme was not included, and you get a strange feeling about the episode..good acting with dark twist...a great mix of Sci-fi, thriller, mystery and horror.
This epic piece af art is still watchable!!
Line of Duty (2012)
..when the mystery takes over
..if you like a good crime/thriller this is a perfect choice!
All seasons has there own conspiracy with secret masterminds...I was dragged in to the mystery from the very first episode!
..a good cast and a "whodunit" vibe that follows through all the episodes.
10/10.
Mare of Easttown (2021)
Sarah Lund of Easttown
This crime mystery gives so many vibes from the danish thriller show "The Crime".
The leading role Mare (Kate Winslett) has a difficult time solving a murder also try to handle problems with her family.
In this village everyone has something to hide.
If you like the whodunit vibe, this is the right one to see!
Kastanjemanden (2021)
If you liked "The Killing"
From the creators of the famous danish crime/mystery The Killing, is here another thrilling show.
This time the detectives are Thulin and Hess.
It got the same tense and creepy vibe, like The Killing with lots of twist and turns.
Enjoy "The Chestnut Man"!!
