True Crime Story: Smugshot: Revenge of the PTA Mom (2024)
LOL....LMFAOOOO!
I just couldn't help it, this episode had me laughing so often...lmao These two, the Easters, are highly paid and very well-educated lawyers. To use their own phones while planning and executing their deranged scenario (AND for Kent to not use any kind of gloves when planting the fake evidence) shows a level of entitlement and ignorance that astounded and boggles the mind. As a result, their phones were pinging off of towers right next to Kelli's residence, in the middle of the night, the night before the evidence was called in and discovered by police. Just so stuck up and entitled the wife really is. To brag, in the courtroom, that she's well-educated, better educated than everyone in the courtroom (which of course included the judge) is just absolutely the apex of delusional idiocy! And then all of the actors who were "auditioning" for the part of the Easters?! This just had me laughing so much! LOL! I'm so glad they got caught!
True Crime Story: It Couldn't Happen Here: Adel, Georgia (2021)
Justice Is Attained!!
I was very moved by this episode. Notice at the end of the episode that this wasn't reviewed and, actually, they didn't vacate his conviction until AFTER this episode aired. I'm absolutely certain this is just one drop in a huge bucket of Injustice, wrongful convictions and just all around BS. I give HUGE kudos and acclaim to Mrs. Morgan for bringing these cases to light. Somebody has to... It's just heinous, the awful and wrongful convictions that occur just like in this case. Mr. Inman served 23 years after being WRONGFULLY CONVICTED! It says I need 60 more characters to post this, soooo: Again, I give HUGE kudos and acclaim to Mrs. Morgan for bringing these cases to light.
The Umbrella Academy: Meet the Family (2022)
A Great Start To Season 3!
I think this episode was great... Too many people complaining about the differences... I give the writers and actors/actresses credit for being able to venture into new territory and create awesome new story lines, with each season... As far as the Vanya to Viktor transformation goes, I give HUGE kudos to Netflix for working Elliot Pages real life transition into the story! Of course there are going to be negative comments/reviews by the narrow minded and hatefully ignorant transphobes... It must be such a bitter and empty life, being so narrow-minded and hateful.... Oh well, I wouldn't know...
Gentleman Jack: I Was Just Passing (2019)
A Vibrant Start For What I'm Convinced Will Be A Great Show!
I really loved this episode. I love shows, like this one, that are based on books...about real-life people. I think it's off to a grand start! I really think that Sally Wainwright has a definite winner of a show here! They've really pulled together a wonderful ensemble cast of great actresses and actors, for Gentleman Jack. I love it when characters "break the 4th wall"! Already can't wait for the 2nd series of the show to come out!
And Just Like That...: Little Black Dress (2021)
Just....Kinda.....WOW
As a 61 yo woman, I was 38 when SATC debuted... I loved the show & all of the life changes we saw the characters go through...
This reboot is so vapid...& pretty empty in comparison... I'm not sure they could EVER get this show (anywhere near) up to par with the original SATC.
I still hope & wish that it can become so much more than it is....
(I always loved Charlotte...why is she irritating the royal fk out of me?!)
Madam Secretary: The New Normal (2019)
Climate change is real!!
I think this episode is on point. I can't believe how many people who reviewed this...deny climate change! They're the ones that have their heads buried in the sand.... We're technically having a drought where I live (in the USA) and this is the first time ever!! Climate change is very real and it's important for us to be the vanguards that work to change it for the future...our children, grandchildren etc....
Madam Secretary: Family Separation: Part 2 (2019)
A Tragic Reminder....
This subject is so hard to deal with. The conservatives in here whining that everybody needs to hear the other side? I'm pretty sure most people don't want to hear any of the pathetic and weak justifications for the immoral, un-American and degrading treatment of immigrants... So many people seem to forget that America was built on the backs of immigrants. I think this episode very sensitively and openly portrayed this subject....
Rebel: 36 Hours (2021)
Great Show! I Don't Get Why It Was Cancelled
This show was great from start to finish, all 10 episodes! Awesome cast, good story lines and very well done. It really doesn't make much sense that it was canceled so fast... I hope it gets picked up by someone who will continue the series...
