Hellraiser (2022)
I had such high hopes
I am a die hard fan of the original hellraiser. I had such high hopes. I was very excited when I first heard of this. One I want tye black leather it's iconic. I loved the fact that the box was different and explained. But this had 13 ghosts vibes with the house and the traps and the dead Voight but not really Just really reminded me of that movie. Loved Jaime as pinhead but felt she was running the show. The other actors just weren't selling it for me. Definitely needed more gore. I'm just very disappointed overall. I hope they don't try and make more because this was a huge let down. I'll stick with the originals.
Pretty Little Liars (2010)
I'm obsessed wil pll
So I love this show! The ending wasn't bad because I am obsessed with twins so I loved it! And I have been rooting for one of the Liars to be a twin. Although I was hoping it was Aria Marlene made so many hints but she did that with Spencer too. I honestly think of Bethany young turned out to be arias twin and a it would have been awesome! There was just so many plot holes and that's one thing about her writing I don't like. Like it could have killed the show and I wish cece didn't have to die.
Single Drunk Female (2022)
Starting off so good but slowly got boring
I wad invested the first two episodes but it slowly started to get boring and I think character development for each character would have helped. I'm watching the last episode I believe as we speak so we will see if it goes well.
Spencer (2021)
I wanted to love it
I really wanted to love it, I love Kstew. But this movie was so boring and her acting definitely not Oscar worthy, honestly think jlaw in Don't look up should been nominated sorry.
The Fallout (2021)
Excellent especially given it was her first fill JENNA ORTEGA
I really loved this movie, it is an accurate description of the after math of a tragic school shooting. Very realistic and felt I was there with them. Megan park this is incredible for being a first film. Jenna Ortega is amazing actress. Honestly the part where vada would blow of Amelia made me cry because I really felt her wanting to be loved by her sister.
The Sex Lives of College Girls (2021)
I have a lot to say read below
Okay so I think a different name would have drawn more attention and just would have been better overall like Girls of Essex College something to do with college idk just my opinion, this show is really funny I like it a lot, the themes surrounding Espisodes are great, the acting is pretty good i love bella ! They just dont look that young to be they look definitely older then college students. The one I have to say is Pauline I really want to like her I do but her acting is just not cutting it for me she doesn't make it believable for me sorry girl but just you just scream theater for me.
After We Fell (2021)
Worst one yet
I loved the first one loved the second one even more but the constant recast are ridiculous like seriously we fall for characters and then they replaced the next movie and just isn't the same I'm pretty disappointed in this franchise. I don't know if it was because of covid they had to do recasts but it truly sucks. And this film just was so boring.
Beautiful Boy (2018)
Beautifully executed film about addiction. So powerful.
Bravo. Wow. Where do I begin? This movie is hauntingly beautiful. It's not your average movie about teen drug use. This film shows so much pain that addiction causes family, shows how parents or partners run themselves crazy trying to help the addict. The realness of addicts relapsing and sometimes there is no trigger it just happens, they miss it. This film touched my soul. Timothee's performance just wow he was so real and raw, Steve Carrell as well. This is a oscar worthy film. The script, director, actors all of it.
Paradise City (2021)
Bringing back that old school vibe
To be honest I was not sure how I felt about the recast, but this season was absolutely amazing. I loved American Satan so much so I was pumped to hear about paradise city. It reminds me of that old school 90s early cult classic vibe I love it.
