CSI: Miami: Silencer (2006)
My general opinion of CSI:Miami
I was recently introduced to CSI:Miami about a month ago. (I know, you're thinking "what kind of cardboard box has SHE been living in?) This is BY FAR, in my personal opinion, the BEST CSI EVER. They're so much more liberated than the original cast of VEGAS. Don't get me wrong, I still adore Gil Grissom and his team, however, Horatio DOES strike as being more human. You don't see Gil Grissom getting emotionally involved NEARLY as much as Horatio Caine, if at all. (Ya, I'm a chick. I know. But, I like the knock-down, drag-out, down-and-dirty cop stuff as much as any guy does. I just like the balance that Miami has to offer.)Thanks for taking the time to read this. Peace. ;)
Madagascar (2005)
My Son's Opinopn of MADAGASCAR
When I first bought this movie for my two-and-a-half year old son, Robert, it was mainly because he'd already memorized all the trailers on television and I wanted to hear him repeat something else. Just out of sheer curiosity, I put the dishes on hold and sat down to watch it with him. He hadn't sat through and entire movie in months. I was thrilled. I must admit, I was amused, too. I have to say, the penguins crack me up EVERY TIME. He now asks, "Watch Penguins first?" whenever he watches it, because he likes to mimic the Skipper. I highly recommend it. The writers and producers at Dreamworks did us parents a favor on this one, by making the adult humor less evident than Shrek. I was less apprehensive to let him watch this one. Thanks, Dreamworks, Really. ;)
