Daisy Jones & The Six (2023)
an AWESOME adventure
I've read the book recently, and I honestly love this adaptation! Really well shot and represents the book beautifully. The changes are relevant and make sense. The music is impeccable! Everything about it is worth the watch, but haters are gonna hate.
The choice of actors is 100% on point. Riley steps in Daisy's shoes completely. The costumes and styles are so well thought of.
The only thing missing is the overuse of drugs and sexual adventures, which to me is fine, just makes the show more accessible to wider audiences.
The music is great! Very nostalgic but modern at the same time!
Watch it and see the glamour and magic for yourself.
Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
BEST MCU movie yet
Honestly, i never thought an MCU film about one superhero could ever beat how grand ENDGAME was as an Avengers movie. Obviously, No Way Home proved me wrong by being written brilliantly.
I bet getting all the old actors for spider man and their villains is an extremely tough job, not to mention making it all make sense with the storyline and where Marvel is heading in terms of stories.
But No Way Home really made everything work beautifully and I can't wait for Dr. Strange 2, especially after those post-post credit.
10/10
Fully recommend.
WandaVision (2021)
JUST WATCH IT
I've been holding a two week MCU marathon and i've finally arrived at WandaVision
After watching the first 3 episodes, i was confused and disappointed because i expected so much more and much different. However, after the 4th episode, i can see the genius behind the show's plotline and sequence of events. The show is also Incredibly well made, better than all MCU movies, and has an amazing cast.
I really appreciate the story and how the writers took their time with it to make a one-of-a-kind experience for marvel fans and comic books fanatics.
Can't wait to see what's further in store for Wanda!
Taylor Swift: All Too Well (2021)
I'm a film student
As a film student, I think this short film is absolutely incredibly well done. The acting is phenomenal and real, props to Taylor for directing the actors all too well. Also the storytelling is perfect and the shots are just amazing.
Fate: The Winx Saga (2021)
Hear me out
I started watching the show with a pure criticism mindset because of how awesome I think the original cartoon is... but this live-action dark remake is really good even though it's quite different.
There's so much potential for it to grow and be an incredible magical show we can all enjoy. Don't let this show flop just because it takes a different approach... it is a remake after all, not a copy.
