Homeland: The Covenant (2017)
What's with the leftist pandering...
... to muslims? And why the disparaging of Israel? Why the false narratives about both? No matter what we do the islamists hate the west and are sworn to kill or subjugate all infidels. Yet Carrie, after all she's been through now is an advocate for muslims? And the show now paints them as victims? If this narrative continues I might be done with what is otherwise a great show.
Battlestar Galactica (2004)
Started out well...
I wanted to give this a fair chance and even watched the two part prequel. I'm now a few episodes in and it's quickly becoming boring. The dialogue and character development never seem to change. Oh and by the way, the Starbuck character is THE most annoying, repulsive character in the history of film making. Don't know how much longer I'll be watching.
Manifest: Mayday: Part 1 (2021)
Writing is becoming absurd
I like this show but it's getting dragged out. Every episode is a breathless response to a new calling. What's really absurd are the Biblical references that are ridiculous leaps in logic and couldn't be more out of context. Acting is way over the top and over dramatized, no one in real life behaves like this. I hope the writers wake up and that next season is better.
Republic of Doyle (2010)
Heavily cliched with poor acting
The first couple episodes were somewhat entertaining but it didn't take long to find out that they are all the same. Dumb attempts at humor that fall flat. This has been done before and much better. Watch two episodes and you've seen them all.
Timeless (2016)
A potentially fun show
I had high hopes for this, it's an interesting premise but the ridiculously over the top, overacting by the Rufus character ruins it.
Prodigal Son (2019)
A roller coaster...
This show started out with ridiculous over acting and overdramatized. Then it kind of became interesting so I watched all of season 1. Season 2 has unfortunately started out with tones of social justice nonsense and the same over the top acting and dramatization. If they continue down the utterly stupid "woke" path then I'm done.
