Bhuj: The Pride of India (2021)
Pathetically Written MOVIE: A good story wasted
To start with, the movie was very badly written. And over dramatizing the characters killed it completely. The actors performance were completely unnatural and particularly Sinha and Virk's acting was PATHETIC.
About the technicalities - an average editing and BGM, what pained the most was the art direction (hilarious sets) and the CGI/VFX.
Bhuj Front was an important chapter in the 1971 war and such a beautiful subject could have been made into a superb movie if the narrative was right.
I would blame the writers and director for this debacle.
The Verdict - State Vs Nanavati (2019)
A really good watch.
This is good watch if you have the patience, don't expect edge of the seat drama. Unlike the movie Rustom where an inspiration was drawn from the case and the rest of the story is fiction. The series takes you through the actual happenings.
A decently written court room drama, the writers never deviated from the actual plot line and thus there is very little entertainment in narrative. Overall if you want to know what actually happened or might have happened watch it.
Shootout at Alair (2020)
Good Story Spoiled Narrative
The choice of story and research was good. But the Narrative was very confusing and dragged without reason.
