JFK Declassified: Tracking Oswald (2017)
Couldn't make it
I tried, I really tried. I couldn't make it more than 5 min. Into the first episode. I wanted it to be good and was looking forward to watching it. Then I saw it was done by the "History" channel. The same people that brought you ancient aliens and big foot built the pyramids (joke). I have seen better acting in my sons grade school plays. Everyone knows you can't trust anything on the "History" channel. It is so full of, don't want to say lies, but misinformation a nd stretching of the truth. I would rather talk to the Is whack job down by the library. I would probably get more accurate information.
The Sitter (2011)
Seams familure
First off this movie is well worth the time. Jonah Hill was great. That being said I feel like I have seen this somewhere before. Wait I know Adventures in Babysitting (1987), but don't let that stop the enjoyment of this film.
Drag Me to Hell (2009)
Confused
Good movie. Definitely worth a watch. The confusing part is I didn't know if it was supposed to be horror or comedy. It was corny in places, a very Bruce Campbell's Evil Dead esque type movie. The acting was very b-movie which made it more enjoyable.
CHIPS (2017)
Not even
Worst movie from a tv show i have ever seen. The character vackstories are all wrong. Baker was the vet and Ponch was the newbie in the show. And having Baker being played like he was an idiot was just wrong. So hard to sit through.
Windfall (2022)
Not what you'd expect
Great movie. Writing this before I even finish watching the movie. Who'd of thought that Jason Seagal could pull off this role. I would like to see him in more dramatic character parts.
That's My Boy (2012)
Worth it?
It was an enjoyable movie, yet stupid. Adam Sandler's character seems like a cross between Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison with a mix of Bobby Boucher which makes sense because he is basically the same person in all of his movies. The ending was predictable, but the trek to it was entertaining. Plus couldn't go wrong with Susan Sarandon in her roll.
Terminal (2018)
I don't understand the dislike for this stellar movie.
The cast was great. Storyline was also great. Twists wow. Thinking one character was the main focus turns out nope. The two hitmen played well off each other. Even though I spotted some things before being revealed (like the Mike Myres i knew from the start he was more involved) it was still enjoyable to see how it ended up there. Still a great movie well done everyone.
Coming 2 America (2021)
Worth it... barely
Was excited to see this. It did have its moments, but in the end seemed like more of a cash grab. They put actors in it just for the audience to say "hey I remember them." Al's a tad predictable. Saw the ending coming a mile away.
The Golden Compass (2007)
Book to movie
Probably one of the worst movie adaptation of a book I have ever seen. I was so wanting to like this move because the book was amazing. The special effects were still good for the time.
Tucker and Dale vs Evil (2010)
Comedy horror with a twist
Great movie. The mix of "horror" and comedy works here. Started off one way then bame went another. Real entertaining how kids were offed during the duration. I have watched many times. It is a must see especially for fans of Tyler Labine.
The Slammin' Salmon (2009)
A fan favorite
Great movie for fans of broken lizard. They were great together as always. It is a must watch.
A Christmas Story (1983)
It's a tradition
Probably the best Christmas movie ever. It is watched in my house at least a dozen times during the season. Side note my wife got me the Red Ryder bb gun. I have not shot my eye out...yet.
