It's bad enough that The Price is Right at Night and Let's Make a Deal are only on Primetime because it doesn't cost squat to be produced, compared to actual television shows. But tonight's episode (07 February 2024) took a new low when it had Donna "Mama" Kelce on stage. Sure, CELEBRITIES are often there to showcase prizes , but Kelce is no celebrity and had NO business being there, regardless of the fact her sons will be in the Stupidbowl. She was ONLY there because her son is dating Taylor Swift (Don't get me wrong, I love Swift. She's awesome in so many ways and the fact GQP hates her makes me lover her even more). Price is Right at Night is already a joke... "Mama" Kelce's appearance tonight made it an embarrassment.

Cheap TV Continues

This is yet another show designed strictly for studio profit, not for entertainment. The overhead for these shows, when compared to actual programs such as sitcoms and dramas, is virtually nil; no actors to pay; few, if any, writers; and so many more reasons these shows are produced on the cheap.
Sadly, we will continue to see the decline of actual programming involving any sort of entertainment value as long as garbage such as this and other so-called "reality" shows remain on the air. These shows are the equivalent of bloatware on a cellular phone; useless, unwanted junk they're going to continue shoving in your face whether you like it or not, continually squeezing out anything that isn't pure executive profit. Sadly, the studios are not completely to blame; Gen Z and Millennials (AKA The 'Derp' Generations) feed on this garbage like ants on a sugar cube.
TL;DR - Don't waste your time on this mind-numbing trash.

As in, nope, no, no way. While I give Peele credit on his attempt, this was a snooze-fest from beginning to end.
If you need to get out of the heat, spending it in an air conditioned theater watching this will pass the time. Just don't expect anything beyond mediocre. Watch the movie (or enjoy a nap) and take respite from the weather.

As shows meet the chopping block i.e. Cancellation, this one barely missed the recent fall of the axe. While CBS is giving it another season, it's current ratings indicate it may (hopefully) get cancelled midway through.
I never liked (adult) Sheldon on TBBT (AKA The Sheldon Cooper Show), finding the self-centered, egotistical, narcissistic, whiny excuse for a human being beyond annoying. This lead to not caring much for the other characters due to the fact they rarely, no, never, stood up to him. During the last episode of TBBT I was keeping my fingers crossed the gang would finally snap, trick him into thinking the elevator was fixed, then push him down the empty shaft. Ah, one can dream.
How did (adult) Sheldon become so obnoxious? Because Young Sheldon is a parental failure. They both cave to his every whim, he's never punished or disciplined, and they take his backtalk without question. I don't care if he's gifted beyond his years; he needs actual discipline and learn to have respect for others, especially his elders. The way he treats his teachers/professors should have had him tossed from school ages ago (and for that matter (adult) Sheldon would never have been able to keep a job).
The only characters that are actually funny are Mee Maw and Missy. Mom's a religious nut job so far from reality no amount of Prozac is going to help her. Dad's just there, chugging beer and waiting for the chest-clutcher that we learned about on TBBT, and Georgie... I haven't figured out what purpose he even has other than sexually assaulting girls during baptisms.

Dismal ratings have done what should have been done by episode 3; slammed down the Cancelled Hammer! Why it took so long I'll never understand, but like the saying goes, better late than never. I stopped watching this garbage after the episode where Al starts telling the family how to raise the daughter, and how it should/would be done "in his country," as well as trying to be her disciplinarian. Seriously? At that point they should have packed his bag and put him on the next slow boat back to Afghanistan. The series was rife with this type of thinking/scripting. I don't care who you are, where you're from, or what you've been through... if you're a guest in my house you're just that, nothing more.

Thank goodness. How this sorry excuse for a comedy ever got green lit is beyond comprehension. The entire premise was a miss from the get go. Don't get me wrong, I love bowling. But it certainly isn't enough to wrap a half hour of horrible dialogue and bad acting around. It's nice to see CBS actually pulling the plug on these dismal failures (also cancelled: United States of Al, Good Sam). Now, CBS, please pull the plug on Young Sheldon (It barely escaped this round).

The Bell Witch: An American Haunting, the story is a complete work of fiction that, just like Sybil (1976), The Blair Witch Project (1999), and countless Bermuda Triangle films, was promoted as truth for the sake of sales. Ah, yes, capitalism at its finest.
The film itself is a bland scare-fest with only a few moments that give you any goosebumps. So grab some popcorn, get comfortable, and watch something else.
