Halloween Ends (2022)

It's just bad.

I have now tried to watch this movie for a 3rd time and have just given up again this time half way through.

Boring, boring, boring. I think a 3 year old must have done the screenplay. Where are the scares, wheres the creative writing and storytelling.

The only horror is the movie itself. The story was generic and I could see in the 1st quarter where this was going. The male lead was tiresome to watch. I'm not saying the actor was bad, but give dud lines, and a plodding story to the main character and it like watching a balloon slowly let out air...You'll watch it and then wonder why you bothered watching it.

The main review said she heard it was better at the end but then said that was a lie, so I'm hardly tempted to try again.

2 stars for Jamie lee being in it, but the rest zero stars.

The Vault (2021)

Just Boring.

Gave up half way through. When you watch halfway through a movie and nothing even remotely pulls you into it, then why watch the other half? There was nothing great about the dialogue, just the same old stuff, no action set pieces to get the adrenaling pumping, no comedy, nothing. If this movie was a colour it would be light grey. There are hundreds of movies that pull of the "Heist" style movie much better. Go watch one of those.

School's Out Forever (2021)

Best movie I've seen in a long time.

Kept me engaged all the time and will definetly watch it again if friends come over. It was tense, slightly funny, and well acted. Have already suggested it to other members of the family to watch. I was on the edge of my seat for most of the movie and the people were real and relateable. Guessing not a mega budget but it knocked the socks of a lot of films just due to entertainment factor. Would have given it 10 stars as it really entertained but with common sense gave it seven...But again a really good movie.

Lost in Space (2018–2021)

One of the better reboots.

Overall this was good to excellent. I can sort of remember the first series and it hold true to it but also updates it to modern expectations. The only thing I didnt like but in a good way was dr smith. Jeeeze did I hate her....but more for the scheming selfishness rather than the actress. I was annoyed at her because she was well written and acted. I will give it a 8 out of 10. Glad to hear it has already been shortlisted for another season. For people giving it 1 or 2 stars..... get a life.

Spy (2015)

good funny movie

I can understand why someone would not find this funny. It can be quite rude, simplistic and a bit done in bad taste, but for me and my two teenage kids we were well entertained by it. Some of it reminded me of the carry on movies, some was the hangover, the party (with peter Sellers) style and some was the Alan partridge style humour. some of the acting was a bit overdone but that is the style of movie it is. Full of insults and physical that made us laugh out loud, Jason stathan in a straight comedic role that could only have been done by him.

I didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised. I cant see anyone in my family not liking it apart from my religious aunty (but even she would laugh in places).

The Victim (2011)

I watched this movie yesterday and it held me and I was always interested in where it was going.

Why people are giving it one star because they feel some reviews are biased means the whole rating of this movie is incorrect.

Terms like "worst movie I've ever seen" seem ridiculous as it is not. Ghost rider 2 came out and that was my vote for worst recent movie.

some acting was good some was cheesy and cardboard but overall it didn't affect the movie as most was fine. If you are going to pigeon hole it I would say grind house would be a good place to put it. Don't expect Shakespeare.

I would definitely watch another movie like this again but won't watch this movie again as after the first viewing there is nothing to be gained from another viewing.
