The Suicide Squad (2021)
Bloody Fun
Wow. I was blown away like Peacemaker for this one. The comedy shines and so does the amounts of blood that pours from every corpse in this film. I loved the new additions with John Cena and Idris Elba and with the return of Margot Robbie. I loved the action sequences, the many kills, and the heart. With Polka Dot Man dying tho, that hit me personally. With many deaths including Blackguard, Captain Boomerang, and Javelin in the first 10 minutes, the movie keeps those ideas throughout. The movie is very vulgar and is definitely more inappropriate than the Guardians films. But nonetheless, the movie packs in many laughs, heart, and gruesome action. 10/10.
That Thing You Do! (1996)
My favorite movie of all time
This movie has gotten me through quarantine, stress, and more. The movie is fun, lighthearted, with some bits of drama. This movie is just perfect. I love so many things about this movie and I hope people appreciate this movie over time.
Rick and Morty: A Rickconvenient Mort (2021)
This made me cry.
The saddest episode to come out in the last 2 years, A Rickconvenient Mort manages to keep the emotions in until the climax. The ending with Planetina and Morty breaking up is very heartbreaking and can relate to people who have gone through the same thing. There are many weird moments with Summer and Rick, but I didn't pay that much attention to that. Amazing episode and one of my personal favorites. 10/10.
Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021)
Made Me Depressed
This movie really sucks.
The michael cameo was super lame.
The movie was just awful.
Don't watch 1/100.
The Boss Baby: Family Business (2021)
Good, until it started singing....
This movie had me invested In a way. The story was relatable to older audiences and the performances were good. I liked James Marsden and Alec Baldwin. They were funny and I liked their characters. But, here's the thing wrong with this movie. SPOILERS :
When Dr. Armstrong baby takes over the parents through the app at the play, Tabitha does her singing solo with the other kids. It's not that good. Her actresses' singing voice is good, but the singing is annoying and unnecessary. This movie isn't awful but not good. Better than the first one.
