9-1-1 (2018– )

It's Good but sometimes, eh...

This show is not boring. It will certainly keep you watching the whole time. I have watched every episode and not one of them was dull. I loven the backstories of the characters. But what really bugs me about the show is how everybody has to be in a relationship with another character. It drives me crazy: Athena is married to Bobby, Buck dates Abby (who left after Season 1) Then Buck's sister comes along in Season 2 and dates Chimney. There's just too much drama sometimes and not enough action. Otherwise, it's a terrific show.

Twin Peaks (1990–1991)

GREATEST SHOW EVER

It has been a long time since 1991. But one thing has not changed: how amazing this show is. There's something about this show in how you feel like you're actually there, in Twin Peaks. This is the only show I've ever watched that makes me feel like this. There have been a lot of shows that had premature cancellations that pissed me off, but this one was especially bad. No matter what, this is the greatest show of all time, it makes my other favorites look like featherweights.

Young Sheldon (2017–2024)

Awesome family friendly show

There aren't a whole lot of shows I can watch with my kids, but this is one of them. It is a fun show that oftentimes makes me laugh out loud. I also like the absence of a live studio audience/laugh track. Anyway, now that I've posted this, I'm going to make a list of family friendly broadcast shows, with this at the top.

The Big Bang Theory (2007–2019)

Awesome show

I have watched every episode of TBBT. When it started out in 2007 it didn't do so well and I was worried it would get canceled, but it didn't, it grew into one of the biggest shows of this millenium. I loved how bad the guys are in social situations, it made me oftentimes die with laughter. So, yeah, this is a terrific show that is also huge, which is awesome.

Grey's Anatomy (2005– )

Tried Once, Never Again

It was some Thursday night in 2006 or 2007, and CSI (my fav show) was on repeat and I decided to watch Grey's Anatomy, a show that all my lady friends had told me about, and said I should watch it. It was probably the worst thing I've ever watched in my life. The "doctors" are a bunch of horny, unlikeable people that made me cringe badly. Then there's the voice of Ellen Pompeo. Literally it is so high-pitched it makes the voice of Jane Kaczmarek from Malcolm in the Middle sound like a monotone. So, yeah, that was the only time I ever tried to watch Grey's Anatomy, and somehow it is still going strong today. 1 star

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000–2015)

Stop After Grissom Leaves

The first 8 1/2 seasons of CSI were great. I watched almost every episode, including its Friday beginnings. I was so happy when the show moved to Thursday and became a massive hit. However, after original star William Petersen (Gil Grissom) left midway through Season 9, the show fell apart IMO. I watched until Season 11, and when Fishburne left, I gave up. Anyway, watch Seasons 1-9 for the best quality.

Magnum P.I. (2018–2024)

Season 2 a lot better than Season 1

I caught a few episodes of Season 1, and the first thing that caught my mind was that the show was WAY too politically correct compared to the original. However, I watched Season 2 anyway, since it was between Five-0 and Blue Bloods, and I realized that it was actually really good. Sure, that whole thing with Higgins getting married was ridiculous, but otherwise I had no problems with it.

Blue Bloods (2010–2024)

Great show

I have watched every episode of Blue Bloods except for the four episodes that aired Wednesday at 10 during season 1. The show is absolutely amazing. Way more realistic than any other cop drama on TV. The Sunday dinners are the best part of the show. I love the character of Frank and how he is one of these people that looks gruff on the outside, but inside he's a true softie.

Hawaii Five-0 (2010–2020)

I will miss this show

I started watching this show when it moved to Fridays in Season 4. (Mondays at 10:00 was too late for me to stay up). It took about 5 minutes for me to realize that I loved this show. Every Friday night from September 27, 2013 to April 3, 2020 I watched this show. I will miss you Five-0 :(

Last Man Standing (2011–2021)

First 6 Seasons on ABC were good, but after that...

I LOVED Last Man Standing. What especially made it great was that it was on Friday Season 2-6. Starting November 2, 2012, I would sit on my couch and hear that intro that made me think of Fridays from simply hearing it. I was absolutely DEVASTATED when the show was canceled in 2017. When I heard it was coming back on Fox, I was so excited, especially when I learned that it would still be on Fridays. I watched the first few episodes of Season 7, and they were OK. Honestly, the new Mandy wasn't what killed it for me. It was Jen. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever for her to be on the show. I get that they were looking for an Eve replacement, but seriously? After I found out she was a permanent cast member, I gave up on it. Anyway, if you've never watched it, watch only Seasons 1-6, because after that it is total garbage.
