By far the best war movie I have ever seen!
15 August 2021
The appreciation I have for soldiers is unmatched after watching this movie. Siddharth did an amazing job portraying Captain Vikram Batra, and like many have said in interviews, there is honestly no one else who could have played the Captain better than Sid!

Kiara's acting in this film was one of my favourites, it was delivered so passionately and raw especially at the end of the film!

The soundtrack took the entire film to a new level. It was so beautiful and the lyrics really matched.

After watching clips of the behind the scenes of the movie and just witnessing the amount of effort, the lengths the cast went to in order to understand the characters they were to play was extraordinary. It really showed in the film. This movie was handled so delicately and was executed so well.

Props to the entire cast for putting such a beautiful and inspirational out there for us! This movie is a definite must watch and will be one that I always remember :)

Absolutely beautiful and I hope they make more movies of similar standard to this cinematic masterpiece.

Not the first and not the second
12 February 2021
I guarantee its not like the second movie that made you want to gauge your eyes out. This movie did provide a beautiful ending but there was something about it that I felt it was missing. I kinda wished they did a little more with it, it's almost liked they played it safe this time. Not necessarily a bad thing but there are many ways they could've done so much more. I do recommend watching it, it will absolutely exceed your expectations if you were thinking it would be like the second. Give it a go, watch it. It won't be a waste or your time for sure!

Kabir Singh (2019)

You either LOVE IT or hate it - It's one of those films
18 May 2020
For me, this movie has got to be one of my favourites. Yes I understand that this movie is for the most part unrealistic but unlike those reviews that hate on the movie just because they are jealous of the plot - jealous it isn't happening to them. Just don't read the one starred reviews. Instead, read my opinion. The movie is about a heart surgeon who does have anger issues and he falls for a girl in his college. The girl is obviously scared of him at the start but she begins to open up to him and become more comfortable.

The movie really shows how some relationships work. They aren't all perfect. Not every guy is going to bring you flowers and surprise you with gifts spontaneously. This is how some relationships are. Kabir Singh is a type of guy to stick with his gut and fight for what he thinks is right, for people he loves. He loved the girl and made it his top priority to make her his. And despite the setbacks caused by her parents, he managed.

This movie shows that not all guys are hardwired to move on quickly and turn to the next girl they meet to forget the previous one. No. Kabir did try to take his mind of the girl using many methods but at the end, he realized she was the one for him and vice versa.

I definitely think this movie is something you should take a look at. It is one of those movies where you either love it or hate it. But I really recommend you to take a look at it and not be discouraged by the one star reviews. Trust me on this one. If you don't like the movie, I GUARANTEE that you will love the movie's soundtrack. It has really lovely songs that are just beautiful.

Overall, the movie is an emotional rollercoaster and not one you should blatantly skip. Definitely one you should check out!
