WOW

This might be the best show I have ever seen. This show just isn't a show, this show is art. To the animation, action, emotion, the characters, the story and visuals. This show is awesome.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this show. This show has some of the best animation I have ever seen, it's on the level of Spiderman into the spider verse and I would almost say better, I really think this should have been the animation of Marvel's What if..? It's fresh and has some of the best 2d and 3d mixture in animation.

The action goes so well with the animation, it's smooth but also rough and you feel the punch. Definitely in the final episode the fight in the ( light spoilers) bar is amazing. But the show isn't just great animation and great action, it's also the story. It's like Game of Thrones mixed with some cyberpunk vibes. The story flows so well and every second you are interested. That is also to thank the characters in the show. Jinx is one of the biggest stand outs, she just steals every second in the show but still leaves enough room for other characters to shine.

But the emotion is just fantastic. You care for every character and even the villain, it's dark, very dark. I think this show should not have a Tv-14 rating but an R rating. Of course this show goes dark really really dark.

I personally think this might be the best show ever so i am going to give this show an 9,8/10.

Last Night in Soho (2021)

Last night in soho movie review

The newest movie from Edgar Wright isn't disappointing, I absolutely loved this movie, the setting, the cast and definitely the cinematography. It's something else from Edgar Wright because he usually does action or comedy but I really think the horror thriller genre fits him.

I really love the use of mirrors and neon lights, I would say that it's beautifully used. The horror in this movie isn't the most scary I have seen but definitely one of the most thrilling I have seen. The story comes great together although they don't reveal everything that went on, but i don't think that is always necessary.

The cast is also amazing from Jojo Rabbit's Thomasin McKenzie to The Queen's Gambit's Anya Taylor-Joy. Matt smith also is making a name for himself as he played in this movie and is going to play the villain in Morbius. The performances of all three are very good, but I wouldn't say Oscar good.

I do really think this movie can do something at the academy awards but I don't think that it will win best picture although i really hope so because this is one of my favorite movies of the year.

I give this movie a 9/10 because this movie is just awesome.

Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021)

Fantastic!

I think some people are not going to like this movie but I thought it was fantastic. The humor worked for me, This is the first movie this year where I laughed out loud in the theater. I went there with a friend and we sometimes had a chat when a character from another movie came along and that was really nice. I think this is a movie you should see in the theater.

The story is of course a family story but they say it in its way that it is fresh, of course it does have its family movie ending but that doesn't matter, because I had a good time with the movie. The CGI is very good and I'm happy with what they put it in.

This movie is definitely a 9/10 and I would recommend it for old space jam fans young and old as it wouldn't disappoint. NEED ANOTHER SEQUEL.

Army of the Dead (2021)

Not Snyder's best work but fine

It's the return of the zombie gerne in a new package. The zombies are cool and have fantastic action scenes that I will never forget. In contrast, the human characters are not fantastic, I found some interest to watch Dave Bautista, Omari Hardwick, Matthias Schweighöfer, Tig Notaro and Raúl Castillo. But the other characters are boring.

The story is not the best and the film could be 10 minutes shorter. The end is not for everyone, but I thought it was good and emotional. The visuals are stunning and I hope the army of the dead universe continues.

I give this movie a 7/10.

Things Heard & Seen (2021)

Mixed bag

I haven't read the book

In the Netflix original film things heard & seen, there are moments that work and don't work very well. It's an exciting story and you are on the edge of your seat for almost the entire movie. The first act is a bit slow but when you are in the second and third act it goes a bit faster. Something that worked really well I thought James Norton, his story in the movie was the most interesting and fun to watch. The performances of all actors are good.

Something didn't work well in the movie's haunted house dynamics. If you took that away the movie wouldn't change much, so I was hoping they'd expand that more. I missed the horror in the film, there was almost no horror.

I give the movie a 6/10.

Stowaway (I) (2021)

Flat

Stowaway is an flat film and you don't feel any emotion. The characters are boring, that had to better because in this film there are only 4 actors and that is why their performances has to be good. If the performance is boring then the the movie becomes much more boring.

The story is monotonous, the story goes at a slightly too slow pace and you get out of the story faster.

The first and second act were still manageable, but the third act went completely wrong for me. It felt fake and you could see that very well. The emotion in the third act also didn't land.

I give this movie a 5/10.

Thunder Force (2021)

Awkward

Awkward! It's awkward! Maybe this movie is supposed to be so awkward but I don't think it was necessary. In itself I did laugh a few times but those were the best jokes. There is one scene and when you see it you know exactly which one with a crab man and I almost wanted to turn the movie off because it was so uncomfortable. Overall it's not the worst comedy I've seen but could be a bit less awkward.

I give this movie a 6/10.

Concrete Cowboy (2020)

A good modern western movie with great acting

At some points the film it is a bit slow but that is part of a modern western so its oké. The film lasted just a bit too long, it could be 10 minutes shorter. Caleb Mclaughlin gives a great performance and he can play drama very well. Idris Elba is not that much in the movie but when he is there he is very good. At a few moments in the film it is very emotional and its inpressive How they handled it. There are a lot of beautiful shots in the movie. Overall its a good movie with tons of great acting but a little to slow and long.

I give the movie a 8/10.

Outside the Wire (2021)

Good for what is was

I personally was not anticipated about this film, my expectations were very low. But I still had a good time with this movie. The performances were actually quite good by Damson Idris and Anthony Mackie. the action could have been a bit longer, but that could possibly have been due to the budget, even though the film seems expensive. The plot twist in this movie might have been better, but it was good for what it was. I give this film a 6 for action and story.

Ma Rainey's Black Bottom (2020)

This film is full of good performances. Chadwick Boseman and Viola Davis shine in this movie. Chadwick was incredible. I am very happy to see him one more time, and what a performance he gives. The story felt a bit short. The story is not that special but I'll say it again, the performances are so good. That's why I give this film a 7.

Enola Holmes (2020)

Its okay for Netflix

The beginning of the film was pretty good, it went nice fast at a good speed and the story could be followed. But when we got to the halfway point it was a bit messy in my opinion. Things happened in the second half that didn't really have to be in the movie and it went a bit slower. I also found the story a bit more difficult to follow. But Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavil and Sam Claflin played really well in this movie, but I would have liked to see more of Herny Cavil's Sherlock Holmes because there was not to much of it in the movie. The action was okay for what it was and the humor was too much at times. It was entertaining and I enjoyed watching it and I will like a sequel (which they have already set up a bit). I give this movie a 6/10 for the acting and the entertainment.

Tenet (2020)

Wow!!

TENET is a good movie related to action and storytelling. Sometimes I had trouble following the story, but later in the film it became clear what happened. Sometimes you also had to take a moment to think again what was happening. I thought all the actors played well but I was only one thing that stood out from the rest and that was the action. After half a year of no big action movies, this was great. All the action scenes were great and it felt really fresh. I give this movie a 9/10 for action, acting, music, story, and storytelling.

Project Power (2020)

A Good netflix movie!!

Project power is a great film related to storytelling and character development. The action is good but there was more potention in it. That's because the bad guys felt a little too easy (not with every action scene). The special effects and the wide shots were good and beautifully made. The acting of Joseph Gorden-Levitt, Jamie Foxx and Dominique fishback were all done well. I see protention that netflix is going to think about making part 2 because not everything has been answered yet about the future of the pills. I give this film an 8 for the acting, special effects, story, character development and the action.
