Andor (2022)
Masterpiece! bravo!
Who knew that the most revolutionary and radical art to be produced in 2022 would come from Disney Plus? Andor is, perhaps, the most important series of our time.
I will just say that it was so good that I downloaded it illegally and then paid for the subscription afterwards just to make sure I supported it's continuance.
It is the crescendo of the Star Wars series which seems to be the only one seriously tackling social issues in a way that is non-partisan and not hokey. The plays of Shakespeare reflect the times of Elizabeth. Andor does the same for America.
The only shame is that when the powers-that-be find out it's impact, they will shut it down. But, they will have come too late.
Exception (2022)
Great til
You had me and it is beautifully done and up until the third episode where the green guy doesn't tell everyone that he was saved by misprint Lewis. That doesn't make any sense. And that is an enormous shame because the animation and the storyline and the imagination are all very beautiful. That was just a bizarre oversight. If the crew knew that he was sentient, a very clearly would have allowed him to live. I'm sorry to hearth on about it but in order to communicate this information to you I have to leave it in a review and there are a required number of characters that I am just about to hit here.
Resident Evil (2022)
Redefines Scifi
I tuned in expecting a cheap hack and slash budget but instead found one of the best science fiction series of all time. It pushes the boundaries on what is possible while bring up questions the viewer realizes are not too distant in the future, if there are not already here. If you can't help but find themselves asking the same questions, do I already live in Raccoon City?
