Madame Web (2024)
It's like they tried to make the worst movie possivle
This is genuinely one of the worst movies I've ever seen I just had to come here and vent. At the beginning it was actually somewhat okay but it spiraled so bad. The villain is truly hilariously bad and there's just like no explanation for him or his origins, they mention a curse at some point with no context?.. The younger girls are all hilariously bad too, especially at the end it was hilarious with their cheesy little "I'll save you!" Lines. The director of this movie should never direct another movie. I don't understand why these studios just continue to try and hire the wrong people for the job based on everything but talent. You'd think they'd learn after The Marvels but Sony apparently wanted their shot at a bomb too. If you have absolutely nothing going on maybe have it on in the background while you're in your phone.
The Marvels (2023)
A new low for Marvel
Good lord where do I even begin? Marvel movies after Endgame have definitely fallen off their high but I actually still enjoyed Thor love and thunder as well as the 2nd Black Panther. Heck, I actually even enjoyed the Eternals, again not their best but still watchable and kinda a cool story. I just want to give that background to show that I'm not one of those "everything sucked after endgame" types.
But boy oh boy where do I even begin. WOW is The Marvels absolutely atrocious. I just watched it and I have never not cared at all or contemplated not finish a Marvel movie before this. The story? What story? I honestly didn't care for any character. Captain Marvel used to be cool cause she was super strong, in this she's like half strength. The villain? Who cares... like there is absolutely no story, character development, anything to draw you in really. It's just stupid and boring. Good job Disney way to ruin the most valuable brand in entertainment with this crap. I seriously am sitting here wondering who watched that movie and thought it was going to be well reviewed or fill seats at theaters.
Do better.

What's wrong with you?
Honestly with the bad reviews, who hurt you?
This is a really interesting and exciting show. I didn't read the books so I can't comment on that but can't you just enjoy the show for what it is and disconnect from the books a bit?
And all this woke talk? I'm the furthest thing from some woke PC liberal but I don't understand what the freak out is caused by. Is it because they replaced a couple guys with black females? I mean can you really not get past that?...
Anywho I think the show does a great job of world building and providing an entertaining and intriguing concept and show that is all the while visually stunning.
Dune (2021)
Really Cool
I'll preface this with saying I haven't read the books but this movie was awesome overall and I'm confused with some of the low ratings. Whenever a movies as hyped as this I guess you always get some of that. The story and visuals are excellent. It's clear that this is the first part and more about world building and setting the stage for things to come. I do understand some of the criticism. Yes a lot of the movie is in slow motion and could maybe do without that as much but other than that I really enjoyed the movie and cannot wait to see what comes next. It's really cool to see a big budget movie that's not some super hero marvel or dc movie so.
Waitress (2007)
Just okay
Kind of a boring storyline. Not really many funny or endearing parts and I was never bought into the Dr. & patient relationship.
Also the husband pissed me off the entire time. He is the most obnoxious person ever, the honking when he pulls up places like are you serious? I would murder him for free honestly.
Clickbait (2021)
This has to be one of the dumbest endings I have ever seen
Worse than game of thrones this ending was honestly one of the worst I've seen.
The dude is kidnapped for days and then let go, he finds out who set him up. So rather than immediately going to the police or home he goes to the house of that person.
Honestly you deserve to die at that point. So beyond dumb I'm pissed I spent my Saturday watching this crap.
Ted Lasso (2020)
Amazing Show
It's hard to overstate how much I like this show. It is such a fun, feel good show. If you're ever not in a great mood put this show on and that'll change around real fast. I find myself smiling for the whole show without even knowing it.
This show honestly makes me want to move to london and get into soccer (football).
Never Have I Ever (2020)
I liked the first season
I liked the first season and felt for Devi navigating some tough situations. Having her dad pass away, being paralyzed temporarily, having to choose between her crush and friends, etc. However, over the course of season 2 she becomes extremely annoying and selfish. It's hard to feel for her or sympathize with her when she's constantly screwing up and being a terrible person and friend. Everyone makes mistakes and I can get past that but even when she should feel terrible like when she spread the rumor a classmate is anorexic and is talking to her therapist all she cares about is getting Ben back rather than truly apologizing. I'm not all the way through with season 2 but this is off putting. Hopefully she can turn it around.
The Map of Tiny Perfect Things (2021)
Honestly a great movie
Not sure why some people gave this a bad rating. If you are into young adult romance movies you will love this movie. It's an interesting plot, heartwarming and makes you feel good. The main characters acted well and had good chemistry and it brought me back to a simpler time in life. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this movie and if you like the genre you will too.
Dave (2020)
Great Comedy
Do not understand the negative reviews. The awkward situations he finds himself in are gold. Especially with YG and his girlfriend. I thoroughly enjoyed the first two episodes.
