A great inspiration for "Virus". Moontrap is a movie that totally worth the look for any fans of B movies with crappy music and a not so good story but still quite interesting to watch because of all the great ideas that it got. The special effects were very impressing for a low budget film. The spaceships were better than most of those in all sci-fi movies that I have seen in years. The idea of the killing robots using humans to built themselves was a wonderful idea. All Bruce Campbell fans will enjoy Moontrap. His performance in this movie is completely amazing. It equals what he did in the "Evil Dead" trilogy. Unfortunately, it's not the same for Walter Koenig. He was just BAD in this film. He was talking foolishly and his lines and the way he was saying them was completely execrable. The guy was just awful... just like the music. Anyway, don't bother yourself by going to the video store to rent it. Just wait to see it on television.

Alien Evolution

If you think you know everything about the Alien franchise, you are wrong!

I had the chance to see the North American Premiere of Alien Evolution and I was quite impressed by it. As a fan of this franchise and thinking that I knew everything about it, I have learned many things while watching it. It's a lovely documentary to see because it talks a lot about what the actors, directors, producers of each films think about all four movies. It's a must-see for every movie-goers especially for the first thirty minutes, I would say, because everyone who was involved in the 1979 classic "Alien" give their point of view (and H.R. Giger as well) on the creature and the sets where the story took place. It is great! Also, there is some actors from the first three movies who appear to say their impression about all kinds of things. Ridley Scott, H.R. Giger and Sigourney Weaver had many good things to tell us about.
My only disappointment, I think, would be that Alien Resurrection was a little bit ignored in this 1 hour and a half long documentary. The only persons interviewed who were in this 4th installment were the director, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, and of course Sigourney Weaver. It made me a little bit sad because Alien Resurrection is my favorite of them all but Alien Evolution was so well done and what the people had to say was so interesting that I still give it a perfect 10 on 10 because it was excellent!

As a fan of this genre, I think it's one of the best horror movie ever made!

Capcom's classic Resident Evil video games have made one of the best horror & action movie of all time. Even if there are no characters from the video game in this movie, its spirit can easily be seen.
For the monsters, we can say that Paul WS Anderson has made some great choices. As you could see in the previews on television, the zombies, the cerberus and the horrifying Licker are all back. It was so cool to see this adaptation of the games on the big screen. So many things was remembering us some thrilling moments of the first two video games : the zombies crawling on the ground to bite our feet, the amazing mansion, the train,...
Milla Jovovich is so cool! She looks so different from all her other movies! It's a really good thing because when we see her, we don't start thinking about, like, Joan of Arc or Leeloo. So on for Michelle Rodriguez. She hasn't played in many movies so this motion picture really creates its own atmosphere.
There was only one thing that I really didn't like in this film. It seemed like if the director lost a little bit of his imagination because there is a scene where the only thing you can think of when watching it is the canadian movie Cube. I won't tell you more about it because I don't want to give you a spoiler!
Anyway, Resident Evil is a must-see movie for everyone, especially for the fans and the horror movie fans, you'll like it! I can't wait to see a sequel (who don't?) !!! **I hope there will be the zombie shark from the first video game!** : )
