Tapie (2023)
Bernard Tapie's Compelling Saga: A Must-Watch Netflix Series
This Netflix series centered around the life of Bernard Tapie proved to be an absolute gem. From the very start, we were unsure about committing to a full binge-watch, but once we started, there was no turning back. The storytelling, character development, and the actor's performances were all top-notch.
What truly sets this series apart is its ability to immerse you in the intriguing world of Bernard Tapie. It delves deep into the complexities of his life, his journey, and the challenges he faced, painting a vivid picture of a man who left an indelible mark on the world.
The writing is both engaging and thought-provoking, making it difficult to pause even for a moment. It's the kind of show that keeps you guessing and eager to see what happens next.
By the time we reluctantly called it a night, we couldn't help but reflect on the impact of this series. It's not just a show; it's an experience. If you're looking for a gripping, well-crafted narrative that will have you hooked from start to finish, this series is an absolute must-watch. Highly recommended!
2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
I never felt asleep, yet this time I did
As a critic, I have watched countless movies and can say with confidence that this particular film failed to captivate me. Despite the use of classical music, which can often enhance a movie's atmosphere, I found myself struggling to remain engaged with the film's slow pacing and dated visuals.
While I can appreciate the film's historical significance and impact on the film industry, I cannot in good conscience recommend it to modern audiences. It's simply too slow and uneventful to hold the attention of today's viewers.
In conclusion, while this movie may have been groundbreaking in its time, it hasn't aged well and fails to meet the standards of modern cinema. I advise viewers to skip this one and find something more engaging to watch.
Life Beyond (2019)
It sent me in another dimension
This is what I call high quality art. Everything from the soundtrack to the images is stunning. It makes you think while enternaining you like never before. If this was an NFT, It would probably be one of the most expensive one. Yet this is given for free on Youtube, for everyone to enjoy. Crazy, right?
The Goldfinch (2019)
I never review nor cry about movies
I did for this movie. Both. This is a masterpiece. Third time I cry in front of a movie. First one was when the wife from Carl Fredricksen in "Up" deceased before achieving her dream. Second time was when Davis Mitchell remembers her died wife in "Demolition". This movie is sad and beautiful. It is totally not worth a 6.2 instead something like a 8.2.
Without Remorse (2021)
Don't look at the 1* reviews
This movie was great, well done and entertaining. It is everything you would expect. I feel like it is bad for people that have read a book or something but I have not read it and liked it very much.
Becoming Warren Buffett (2017)
I cried. This is beautiful.
This is the first review I make on this app because it is the first time I cry in front of a documentary. And the 3rd in front of a movie. I really love his story, and I am so sad for his wife. I think I will put this in my best movie list.
6 Underground (2019)
Very entertaining and well done !
This movie is very entertaining. Ryan Reynolds plays better than in Deadpool ! I highly recommend. However, not for children under 12 cuz there is a lot of blood.. The storyline is very interesting and well done. Not the best but very original and not previsible.
