All the Light We Cannot See (2023)
Totally Gripped
Somewhere between Harry Potter, Schindlers lies "all the light we can see" . Too captivating for so called intellectual buffoons known as film critics on rotten tomatoes with their 29% rating. The publics ratings speak volumes. Many Great Movies let you sink into a world of fantasy hope curiosity. This movie has it all. Gripping, excitement , hate , love . One of the best miniseries I have ever seen. But I only watch the big screen a few times a week and wow did I love this. Costumes, cinematography, plot, scary scary scary . It shows how sadism can control a nation of peace loving Germans. How heroes paths entwine at a critical tie in the war. "You fix my wife's radio or you die" talk about pressure. "Fix it or die" German officer to adolescent German boy . Bombs, soldiers , love, desperation. Loyalty .Heil Hitler.
The Crown: Queen Victoria Syndrome (2022)
Superb cinematography, greatest music score.
Series 5 of the The Crown is so enjoyable. Its contains unbelievable new age cinematography, with superb scenes and fabulous music. OK some casting is suspect. But does that really matter . I look at the bigger picture and how history and events mould into a Netflix version of British Royal History. Loving it. But its he music and how it entoxicates the senses and draws me closer and closer to the fantasy where my pleasure of watching this series sores to greater heights. The series is amazing. A true work of art . The locations have further enhanced my enjoyment. I have an OLED TV and that really makes a difference. Thank you Netflix.
The Mauritanian (2021)
Tries to find Sympathy where there is 0
5 bafta awards, are you kidding me. What did these western haters want. Three meals a day is what they got. Freedom to pay and lawyers. Fast forward to Azov defenders of Ukraine. Sorry no sympathy. Movie flicks all over the show.
