These are supposed to be super clever agants (and shown to be time and again,especially HG). So, why did they make the absolute dumbest decision that does nothing but start a new plot line? If the shield was powerful enough to protect Pete and Myka from the blast, why didn't HG just put the shield around, I don't know, just the bomb? The shield was right next to ground zero and sustained zero damage, so it surely would've contained it.

Without Remorse (II) (2021)

Either make a Clancy movie or don't

As a generic soldier/spy movie, this isn't horrible. I'd give it maybe a 6--don't expect much, but it has entertaining moments. As a Tom Clancy movie, based on a book with established characters and canon, a 1 isn't a low enough rating. It has nothing to do with the book, and little to do with the Clancy universe beyond a couple of names. It's nothing more than a cheap cash grab using the Clancy name. People need to either come up with original IPs, or at least attempt to stick a little closer to the namesake material.

Do not watch this. Seriously, words can't even describe how utterly terrible this is. I can't imagine anyone involved in this production will be hired for anything in the future. This rating system needs negative stars.

Another Life (2019–2021)

The crew kills it, and not in a good way.

I like the concept and the overall plot is generally pretty good. However, the writing/directing/whatever of the crew is pathetically juvenile. It's especially unbelievable for the first couple episodes (they're on a critical earth saving mission, but some haven't even met each other before, others have an antagonistic history). It's really like the writers have no clue what makes a team beyond high school, or maybe a cubicle office at best. People say the lead, Katee carries the cast, but she's at least as bad as most of the others. She's a horrible leader. Doesn't command either respect or fear (you need one of those), allows pettiness to prevail, and is "successful" more because of luck or the crew finally pulling it together than any actual prowess on her part.

Then the other storyline, of course the military element wants to take over and go in hard even when the scientists are making progress (just too slowly for the commander's liking).

This could be a pretty good show if the entire cast was scrapped and re-written halfway decently.
