Holy crap!!! This is a hidden gem

I dont even remember how I found this on HBO, but this is one of the funniest shows I've seen in years! Buy a lot. I think the fact that it came out in 2013, when there were so many good comedies just made this hard to compete with. But watch this in 2023 and you're gonna be pleasantly surprised at how funny this show is. Not sure why it got canceled but it looks like there was a movie to follow. So as soon as I'm done with the TV show, I'm watching the movie. Well done!

Unfortunately this came out during a very competitive time when hollywood was making hit after hit. If this came out in 2023, it would've been as big as Avatar. The bar is set very low these days, but that doesn't mean this is still not a great movie. Original story, original characters, good visuals and all around fun.

Funny, i dont even remember trailers for this when it came out. The marketing must not have done a good job. Hopefully it gains enough cult following for a sequel, but for now, I'd recommend watching this movie and disregard the old reviews.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2022– )

Good start

I am a Trek fan and got paramount for Picard. Then i heard it goes down hill is season 2 so i only ended up watching the first episode since i dont want it to ruin the original. Never started Discovery because i heard it gets bad too, then this came along. Sure the episode where their in a kingdom is corny but Star Trek always had those. Overall its a good start and hopefully it gets even better. Nice job. Hopefully its not like the others and goes down hill next season.

Maybe this movie is just so advanced that it is lost on me. Like all the other reviews say, its beautiful cinematography with captivating acting but their is just no story. The music is intense with an emotional build up, then.....nothing. Absolutely nothing happens in this movie, haha. I clicked no on the "spoiler" button because there's nothing to spoil.

The 1 stars are ridiculous! I am a huge fan of the Scream series, seeing the original in the theater almost a dozen times, and this is the best one since Scream 2. I will say the ending was a little disappointing and didnt really make much sense, but this movie was a decent sequel to the Wes Craven movies, with some gore, black comedy and i liked the "legends" aspect. Not the best of the series but it was no 1 star for sure.

To sum it up: waste of time and the ending was stupid. Could've had the whole 8 episodes in one, as non of any of it matter. They wasted my time the first season, but wouldn't watch another. Zero inclination to who the killer is until the last episode. They didnt even show them (the killers) the whole season, Lame.......

Me and my son watched the first episode and we were stoked! Then came the second and it was starting to be obvious what was going on. So i looked up user reviews on here and we are done will this series. Too bad Netflix, this really could've been something. The audience will hate you, but hey your "critics" like it.

Critics were totally wrong on this show. It was watching the best cools in the world, do what they do without all the non sense drama. Netflix: you dont always have to listen to critics.

This is a over the top, silly but entertaining movie. Its a bank heist with Zombies. Its similar to all the other "dead" movies. Good stuff, pleasingly fun.

Have only seem season one, but I had no idea they could make a compelling original story anymore. Wow! Better than the movies in my opinion, and the movies (1&2) were good. I have a bad feeling Netflix will ruin it shoving in there PC and political ideologies. 🤞 The writers keep true to their art.

This review is the overall sequel series (episodes 7-9). Unfortunately their is no point to the sequels, no story to tell, no heart or soul in these. These movies are "corporate" movies. Nothing more than to make a buck. Similar to marvel movies, these are "cookie cutter money makers", made for ADHD generation. George Lucas may have created Jar jar and had some pretty cheesy dialogue sometimes, but he always had a story to tell and a vision to show. I liked all the Lucas films and saw them all multiple times in the theater. I still really enjoy 2 and 3 even though critics didn't. But heres the bottom line, THESE ARE NOT STAR WAR MOVIES!! But hey, nothing offensive and all the PC boxes are checked. Pockets are lined with money and art is dead. Well done. 😉

Norm Macdonald Has a Show (2018)

I loved Norm's podcast, best podcast ever. The Netflix show is up there, but just falls a little short. Best thing about the podcast, was Norm was free to just be Norm. And i liked they had comedians rather than has-been celebrities, Chase and Spade were exceptions. Norm can't play in this PC culture, so i doubt there will be a season 2, but would watch everyone of them, twice, if they do bring him back. NORM!!
