Nolan, u good?
11 February 2021
Being a fan of Nolan's work, i give him the benefit of the doubt. Meaning that although i didn't understand 80% of the movie, i still believe it's a good one. It's action packed for sure, but almost undeniably a movie that has to be watched several times in order to be understood.

Just a simple movie

This movie isn't a masterpiece of any kind, but there's nothing wrong with it either. If anything, i'd say it is a bit predictable, but it's fun to make that into a sport with some friends. Average movie, average rating.

Adjust your expectations, then it isn't as bad as the reviews suggest
24 June 2020
Honestly it wasn't as bad as some of the reviews say, you just musn't think you'll be seeing an absolute masterpiece of realistic storylines. True, the chemistry between the two main characters could have been a bit better, but if ur looking for a movie with '50 shades' romance' this actually isn't that bad.

Phenominal acting, but somewhat melodramatic
4 June 2020
I was doubting on what to rate this movie. The acting skills are phenomenal, not that i expected any less from Will Smith, but his co star absolutely did a great job too. So it has nothing to do with the acting, but the movie felt a bit slow at some points and the ending is a little predictable. That doesn't take away the fact that the story told is absolutely beautiful and leaves room for the audience to interpreted it in their own way. I wasn't mind blown, but i was very satisfied.

Exceeded my expectations, Spielberg nailed it
3 June 2020
A friend of mine told me about a movie in which players had to go look for some kind of artifacts in a VR world. I thought i was going to watch a movie with a fun twist on future times and maybe some development in the screenplay department. Boy was i pleasently surprised when i realised i was watching a movie with a storyline like no other. Granted, you can't sleep on this one and still understand what's it about, but the storyline is fenominal. Every time you think it can't get better, it surprises you. The way it's filmed is in my eyes new and different, yet very easy to adjust to. The concept of VR isn't new, but i think the take on it in this movie is refreshing without loosing it's credibility. An absolute must watch, and for many probably more than once.

Very pleased to find this gem
29 May 2020
This movie is something fresh and authentic. Allthough it's been around since 2011, i've never seen anything like this. The concept is genius if i may say so, and the use of good actors and the combination of action and drama makes this movie very enjoyable to watch. Solid 8.

Worth the watch, although trailer is deceiving
19 May 2020
I wouldn't describe this movie as a comedy. Actually, the script touches a very important topic in my opinion. The trailer only showcases the first half of the movie, but all the exciting stuff comes after that. I would say this movie is actually about more than the fun aspect of being able to live life at a perspective from 10 centimeters tall. It's about the way life can be cruel, love and making decisions. Nice movie, absolutely worth the watch.

A masterpiece of passion
23 March 2020
Never have I seen a movie which portraits the beauty of a relationship between two people more pure. The passion both the main actors are able to showcase is phenomenal. You feel what they feel, just by looking at your screen. This movie is innovative, without losing it's charm. Absolute masterpiece.
