The Suicide Squad (2021)
Excellent
Amazing, I don't even have a bad thing to say, this gives me hope for DC movies. The music, acting, plot we're all excellent. I loved the pick of characters, and the actors for them. So many twists, and incredible CGI. Amazing to see Starro in a live action also. Gore was beautiful.
I absolutely do recommend this, coming from a big DC fan.
The Batman (2004)
Very Underrated
This was a brilliant show and I can't see why people don't talk about it more often. Great design, great music, great voice acting, etc. And possibly the best version of Batgirl so far! Definitely recommend
Superman: Man of Tomorrow (2020)
Alright movie
It was an alright watch, the story was okay and I was sold when Martian Manhunter came into it. It was interesting and I found the animation charming. Very well made, I liked the voice acting too.
Lupin (2021)
Brilliant
Possibly the best show I've ever watched, I watched all 5 parts in one day! I'm hoping Netflix releases more. The actors are brilliant, the direction fantastic, the story spectacular! A must watch. I recommend with french audio and English subs
Wonder Woman (2017)
Brilliant
Absolutely adore this movie and it's counterpart, as a big nerd of DC I'd say it sticks to its comics at most. Went to see it at the theatre and the whole family loved it. Definitely recommend and it's counterpart Wonder Woman 1984 which I've just watched. Gal Gadot brings it all together!
Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
A delightful surprise
After reading all the reviews, I was scared to go to the theatre expecting another DC disappointment, but I can say it was a delightful surprise and excellent film, the time flew by and my whole family enjoyed it.
The acting was terrific, especially Gal Godot as always. The story pretty good and the effects excellent. As a true DC fan and comic collector, I really enjoyed it, though not as good as the original. It would have been 10 stars but I felt like it didn't truly stick to how Cheetah really got her powers and transformation but it was nice to hear some familiar names like Simon Stagg and Maxwell Lord!
Amazing film coming from a DC fan.
Friday Night Dinner (2011)
Hilarious
I have never laughed so much, it's hilarious, it's perfect to watch at the evenings for a good laugh, I remember every episodes and laughing at every one of them. It's a definite recommendation.
The VVitch: A New-England Folktale (2015)
Not the usual horror
Most horrors are about gore and violence of every sencond of the movie but this one is unique. It is a realistic movie of how it was back in the day. I love the main protagonist, who only comes out at the end Black Phillip, at the end where he speaks Thomasin with that voice and those lines. Brilliant. I love the story and the unique deaths, a man being stabbed by a goat who's actually something like Satan, or baby being made into PASTE it's horrifying but the gore is just everywhere to make the movie, no it builds up with tension and music, wow the sounds, so amazing.
A Must Watch
Rogue One (2016)
Fantastic
A fantastic movie with a sad ending, I loved the whole concept of this film and after the full Star Wars franchise this is still my favourite of the whole series, it has a feel to the original unlike most of the sequels. The characters you feel their emotions and you feel attachment, with their choices and their actions. The ending was a real hit because the almost all the main protagonists die in a sad and horrible scene. It really hit when Jyn and Cassian are sitting together as the whole planet is being exploded it's horrible and sad. The movie shows you what the people that worked for the Rebels and there story on how they helped the main protagonist in the main movies, win the war. I liked this and how it showed a whole different side. The movie itself is really good and a must watch and explains how Princess Laila and the Rebels get the plans to the Death Star and to be honest at the end what they did seem pointless at they sat there waiting to be murdered by the Death Star. A MUST WATCH.
Justice League: War (2014)
Brilliant
A brilliant movie to I really enjoyed to watch and even laughed out loud at some of comedy, it was just a good mix of action and Green Lantern being funny. Though I feel as if the characters didn't really feel like themselves, and superman's questionable design.... why is his neck and head so WIDE? But I still love the design of all the character and can't wait to watch more of DCAU.
Batman vs. Robin (2015)
A Good Sequel
After watching the first one, Son Of Batman and not being disappointed I continued to this one, an all together good movie that I throughly enjoyed, with the cool villains, which I feel like don't get used enough, and to be honest unless your a mega fan of DC your won't really know them. The story and the characters where great, I suggest you watch it, so you don't miss out on good things in life.
Son of Batman (2014)
An all together enjoyable movie
The movie is a good one, that I enjoy though I wouldn't watch it more then 3 times. It's plot is good and I love the design of the characters and all together, it's a more or less GOOD movie and I think if your reading this you should go and watch it immediately. Though in some places it's quite cartoony and unrealistic, like how can a 10 YEAR OLD swim like half way across the the fricking sea. How did Robin mange to get even a hit on legendary Dick Grayson aka Nightwing, he would of kicked his a** , never mind what he managed to do to him he looked like he was at death door with all those slashes. Apart from what stated above it was a pretty good movie that I liked to watch.
Batman: Hush (2019)
Alright
The animation is good, I guess the story is alright but I guess I was expecting more because of all the brilliant DCAU movies. I'm also quite confused, I thought Thomas Elliot was Hush but Riddlers Hush? And he killed Tommy Elliot now that was confusing like what's with Nigma being Hush, it's Tommy Elliot that's Hush, but all together it was an OK movie for me, I wouldn't watch it again, it's confused me enough.
It could have been a Great movie but I think it ruined that chance by confusing all the DC fans.
Justice League Dark (2017)
One of my favourites
It's one of my favourites by DCAU and I think it is a adequate movie that is fun to watch, I loved to see Batman and John Constantine working together. The first scene of all those people seeing demons and stuff where quite disturbing, in fact the one where the woman runs over people thinking there demons it chilling, along with the man about to shoot his wife and kids wow, I can't believe people say animated movies are only for kids. Apart from those disturbing.... scenes it was a brilliant movie, that is one of my all time favourites and a must watch from me.
Young Justice (2010)
A Must Watch But...
I binged watch season 1 and season 2, super good, a must watch I binged watch it all in a couple of days, when season 3 came out I was so excited, I played the first episode and to be honest I was confused, AquaLad is the head of justice league, Batman had created the Outsiders, I didn't really know which timeline I was in. I couldn't really stick with it and I still haven't got past episode 3, I got bored of it, it probably really good and it's just not for my taste. It's a must watch.
Isle of Dogs (2018)
A True Piece Of Art
Not only is it a funny, sort of saddening, mysterious story but a piece of art, I cannot imagine how much time it took to make, I respect this movie and the people who made it so much, I enjoyed the characters and the plot and the twist where Chief turned out to be Spots brother. It's a must watch.
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (2002)
Surprisingly Good
I thought it would be some prissy girly movie for little 6 year old horse girls. Surprisingly it wasn't, it was amazing not just the animation but the plot, in whole it is a good movie for kids and adults and I really enjoyed, but I think those episodes sorta ruined it, like I thought at the ending when Spirit and Little Creeks horse came back to the herd, but on the covers of the episodes ( Spirit Riding Free) Spirit is just riding with this girl???+ why is this girl on the cover look from present times but Spirit is from like 1800's??? But I don't really know I couldn't bring myself to watch it.
Pet Sematary (2019)
Pretty Good
It's was one of the first horror movies I ever watched, It not really gory if that's what your looking for. I quite liked it. To be honest it not really that scary I was 12 and I still wasn't that frightened but I remember 2 scenes that my family had to hide behind the blanket, it's got plenty of tension. The scene of the lorry that absolutely annihilated that little girl was a masterpiece and when she was brought alive and bathed and you could see staples at the back her head, chilling and when she slit Juds ankle that scene is still with me, I couldn't help feeling my ankle. All in all it was a pretty good movie that I enjoyed but again not really gory or frightening if that's what you really want... just disturbing and odd.
Nanbaka (2016)
My favourite program
Absolutely amazing, my favourite program, the characters? Amazing. The plot? Brilliant. The design? Fantastic. I have watched every episode, read all the manga, I can't get enough of this show/manga. I cannot wait for season 3! I have rewatched it all and my favourite episodes, reread all the manga. My favourite is going to have to be Samon Gokuu, wow the plot twists, who would of seen that coming for Enki. Just the right recipe, a pinch of mystery, a cup of comedy so good! I'd not think I can't wait for the summer of 2020 I need to watch this right now but I'm stuck to rewatching and reading everything. You need to watch this.
Scoob! (2020)
Disappointed
I have been a long time fan of Scooby doo and own almost all of movies and episodes on DVD, I was looking forward to a new movie of the franchise, though I'm dissatisfied with this movie. It's animation is wonderful don't get me wrong but the story...? Questionable, and where the HECK is Fred's neck chief through out the movie, why is only near the end. It would have been fun if the movie brought in all the characters like Scrappy-Doo or maybe all the villains from the old episodes where against them, why is Cerberus real shouldn't it be a hologram or a suit, why is Alexander The Great involved. I think I will just stick to the Scooby-Doo , Where are you? From 1969 because it's so much better. Absolutely absurd.
Beastars (2019)
Absolutely Fantastic
I saw about this, and I liked the look of the animation, I decided to watch it, and I'm so glad I did, it was fantastic and the best decision I ever made. I was instantly sucked in to the story and binged watched, I watched day to night. Amazing story that you CANNOT get bored of. Character design that I loved to look at. The plot is adequate. I love this show and I cannot wait for another season. I'm now reading the manga because I can't wait for the next season. You should definitely watch because it was the best decision I have made so far.
