Radio Flyer (1992)
Excellent Film, and heart tugging
I believe, that this is a heart tugging film. Richard Donner (Directed the top grossing film "Superman"), had done a great job directing this film. Some of the segemets were good, and several were horrible because, Bobby (Mazzello) was beatened by The King (Baldwin, and especially their dog, Shane attacked the King which meant that he paid for what he had done to Bobby.
Elijah Wood, portrayed a good role in this film. The memorable scene in this, he dreamt that he took the buffalo's advice about Bobby being battered. Lorraine Bracco, (Pre-Soprano)had portrayed an impressing role.
I give this film *** out of four!!!
The Bad News Bears Go to Japan (1978)
Bad Script!!!
This film didn't follow-up to the first two successful sequels! John Berry, was not a good director, and especially a bad script!!!
Tony Curtis (Father of Jamie Lee, starred in "Halloween" the same year), did an Ok job, and I say that this film was disaster!!!
NO STARS!!!
The Bad News Bears in Breaking Training (1977)
Good but, light weighted script!
This was a good follow-up but, Where's Walter Matthau, Tatum O'Neal, and director Michael Ritchie? Well, Michael Pressman was an OK director but, Michael Ritchie's direction was successful in the original. They were a few changes, of the players; Engleberg, got fatter (portrayed by another unknown actor, so they can make the character even funnier), and a New Pitcher!!! He was a good one, and Tanner was seven times funner!
William Devane was awesome!!! he did well od the coaching, and especially, it was a lightweighted script.
**1/2 out of 4
The Bad News Bears (1976)
This was funny!!!
In my opinion, this film should have been the most 100 funniest films of all time!!! This seemed obvious that this film should've been more funnier that I've expected. Tatum O'Neal, was a hoot by portraying an ace pitcher, and she could've won a second oscar but, it didn't happen. Walter Matthau, was even like his "Odd Couple" character by coaching a load of rebellious boys, and Tatum came in to take them out of their losing slump.
I say that this was the most funniest film of all time
***1/2 out of four!!!
