Retread-But it Rodney
8 December 2003
This was a watchable movie, but plot was a little weak and most of the jokes were from some of Rodney's earlier movies. With that said, it was worth the time to watch. I gave this a 5 out of 10. So basically, its one of those movies that you do not go out of your way to see, but if you find it on the tube, take a chance.

Actually Pretty Good
16 May 2001
I received passes for this as an advance screening. I checked around the internet and did not see any reviews, which usually means the movie will not live up to expectations. This was not the case. It was actually a good movie. JLo stars as a cop with relationship problems. I would recommend the movie but be prepared for a tear jerker. This movie is a *** out of *****.

Pretty Good Horror Flic
2 February 2001
I saw this movie yesterday at a sneak preview showing. The movie has a plot, which can be rare in a horror movie. The run time was appropriate in that it was not a 2 1/2 epic. The director did a good job in leting the actors act and not letting effects dictate the movie flow. I was surprised by the lack of T&A but it did have some bloody scenes. I gave this a 6 out of 10 and I'm pretty tough on giving higher ratings.

Actually a pretty good movie
24 November 2000
I picked this one up from Blockbuster last week. This was a straight to video release, which usually puts up some red flags. It was actually quite good for the budget. There were several past stars in this movie, Morgan Fairchild, Joan Van Ark, The oldest Son from Home Improvement and Dennis Hopper. I would recommend this for a rental but not necessarily one to buy.

Small budget NBK
2 October 2000
I rented this movie for the description on the back of the cover. It looked like it will be a action movie with a little humor. Well there was some action. It was basically a small budget Natural Born Killer knock off. Not all that bad for the money. I was on the fence in rating this movie. It was not a great movie but then again, it was not bad movie. I gave it a 5 out of 10. If you like Rose McGowan, then you should rent this movie. She was not shy in this one. The beginning of the rated version had a disclaimer from the director that he did not edit the movie for the R rating and does not endorse it. I can just image what the unrated version must be like.

Great Boxing Scenes but Movie too Long
27 June 2000
This movie had some great boxing scenes. The hits looked real and the cuts and bruises did too. The only problem with this movie was it was a little over two hours. Instead of flying to Las Vegas, they drove there. This led to over 40 minutes in the car (Nice car though). If the movie was 90 minutes, it would have been much better.

A nice touch was the use of real boxing personality. For the casual fan, people would reconize George Foreman, Mike Tyson and other from HBO. It also had real cutmen and trainers in the corners. The director/writer does his research and the movie does show it.

Still the movie is a 5 out of 10.

Good Auto-bio
15 May 2000
I found this movie in one of those clearance racks and the price was right so I took a chance. It was a great find. I'm a huge boxing fan and like to find out information about old time boxers. I've read a lot of books and magazine articles about Dempsey and this was true to the point. The action scenes seemed real to the point the Tunney fight looked like they were really hitting each other. I would not only recommend this movie to anyone who likes boxing but to anyone looking for a good story. The plot was well developed and the acting was strong. Treat Williams did an excellent job as the lead. I gave this an 8 out of 10.

One laugh after the other
27 December 1999
This was just a good as the first one. It was one laugh after the next. As you well know, this movie introduces Mini-me and Fat Bastard. These are two of the funniest characters I've seen in a movie in a long time. After watching this movie, you will be saying one of the catch phases over and over again. Heather Graham is just smoking in this movie as in all of her others. I would guess by the box office receipts, there will be a third movie. Hopefully it will be just as good as the first two. I give this movie an 8 out of 10.

No More Joey Travolta Movies 4 Me
8 September 1999
Sorry for all you Joey Travolta fans but this was a poor b-film that really offered nothing more than a soft-core porn of Anna Nicole Smith. So if your looking for a lot of nude footage of her, this is the movie for you. The acting was sad, plot if any was worse and the stunts were so-so. I would give this movie 1 out of 4 stars and that is generous.
