Do Not See This Movie!!!!!
22 July 2005
What a complete waste of time and money. If you have any sense of self worth, please stay away from this atrocity. I have never wanted to walk out of a movie before tonight; the only thing that kept me in my seat was to see how this mess could possibly end. If anyone can stomach horror films, I can. If anyone is not easily offended, it is I. But, my, oh my, this movie was unthinkably barbaric, sick, twisted, and disgusting (not just visually, but mentally). I feel sorry for Rob Zombie; God only knows what he has going on in his corrupt mind. After leaving the theater I wanted to go home and take a shower, and I had lost my appetite. Again, this was not due to gore and guts, but because The Devil's Rejects made me feel like one of the cheap, dirty whores it depicts. Proceed with caution.

Freddy Vs. Jason or: Why Horror Films Have A Bad Name
10 September 2003
You would think that a movie in planning for 10+ years would be tremendously better than this film is, but no. New Line went and put another nail in the horror genre's coffin (no pun intended). This film not only bastardizes both series, but horror in general. The director, Ronny Yu, apparently has no concept of "directing" and seemingly has no knowledge of these two franchises. The story goes from completely unoriginal to absolutely hokey. Acting is the worst in any film I have ever seen, non-professional included. One scene that is truly appalling is when Jason goes on an ultra-psycho rampage (more than usual) and begins slaughtering unobtrusive teenagers right and left. I know this is a horror film, but it is totally disturbing and there is no reason for it. I suppose the producer's felt the only way to save the film was to pour onto the audience a never-ending flood of blood and gore. And boy does it keep coming and coming and coming. After it's all said and done this film is the worst of the worst to be released in a long, long time; and if you must see this film, like I did, by all means go to a matinee.

Give This Movie A 2nd Chance!!!
11 June 1999
When I first went to the theater and seen this movie, last Thanksgiving, I about died. I expected a normal Drew Barrymore movie with her everlasting magic. What I got was a weird, black "brain-teaser" comedy. I about had a fit! I could not stand the movie, it was horrible. But come to find out, I just didn't understand it. So this weekend I rented it. And guess what! I liked it! It is just one of those movies that is a whole lot better the second time around. You have to sit through it once, and then watch it again. So all of you who hated this movie the first time like I did, watch it again! You won't regret it!

Apt Pupil: A Big Disappointment
24 October 1998
Apt Pupil is not at all like a Stephen King movie. There is no evil or strange happenings. It is a big disappointment. I am not saying it was a bad movie, it just has false pretenses. It is just about a boy who is obsessed with the "Holocaust" and wants to no everything about it, from the Nazi's point of view. So he blackmails an old man into telling him about it, and eventually the old man gets some vibes from the power he used to have, but not much. It is more of a dreary drama, than the revitalizing horror chiller it is suppost to be. Don't waste your money! Rent it! As for the acting Ian McKellen is great! Sorry Brad, you pretty much sucked.
