She says that the damned souls are making her rich because any souls they corrupt comes to her, and it feels good to grind herself on someone else.
Astra summons a chained up Masher, who begs Constantine to help him. As Astra grinds her heel into Masher's head, Constantine says that she doesn't have to do it. Astra says that she likes doing it, and teleports Masher away. Constantine says that they don't have to be enemy, and Astra tells him that he's an important step in her evolution. She has real power, and Constantine will have to kill her to stop her. However, her soul would end up back in Hell anyway.
Constantine returns to the Waverider, and he tells Sara and Ava that he needs a drink and walks out.
Nate tries to get Gideon to replay the message from Zari. Behrad comes in and Nate claims that he was just double-checking something. Zari's image overlaps Behrad to Nate's eyes, and Behrad says that Nate got into his stash again. The two of them share a laugh, and Behrad takes Nate to the team meeting.
Constantine tells the Legends that everything that they need a permanent solution stopping Astra. Ray suggests that there's still some good in Astra, but Constantine tells him that her lust for power has zapped the humanity out of her. Sara figures it's a good thing that the "encores" aren't their fault, and Ava wonders what the point is of sending the encores to Hell when Astra will send them back. Her lover figures that they'll house them on Waverider.
After the meeting, Behrad approaches Sara and says that he has to take shore leave for his father's birthday. Nate is surprised to learn that Behrad is taking him along with him. As they leave, Gideon tells Sara that a new timequake has been detected. They split up into two teams: Sara, Ray, and John in the field while Ava and Mick QB from the ship. Ava is thrilled to be coordinating, and Mick figures they're stuck on the ship.
Nick and Behrad arrive at the Tarazi home in DC, and Behrad's parents greet their son. Behrad introduces Nate as one of his business school professors, and Zari comes in blogging. Nate stares at the time-altered Tala in shock, and Nate claims that he saw Zari's video. She pulls her hand out of her hands and figures that he's a weirdo, and walks off. Once they're alone, Nate tells Behrad that there was a secret message from Zari in the hologram message, and figures that they "dented" time at Heyworld.
In L.A., Constantine opens up a detective's office and says that he traced an infernal residue there. There's the ash of a corpse on the floor, and Constantine tastes it. He explains that something killed the victim with hellfire, and finds a matchbook on the desk. A woman, Jeanie Hill, arrives outside and the trio confront her. She draws a gun and demands to know who they are and where the detective, Webb, is. Constantine passes himself off as Webb's partner with Sara as his secretary and Ray as a police officer. Jeanie gives her name and says that he hired Webb to protect her from her boyfriend Benjamin... who died a week ago. Jeanie explains that Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel took over a club, the Blue Iguana, which is a place for the rich and famous.
At the Iguana, Bugsy takes out a green glowing revolver and jokingly tells everyone to have fun or he'll shoot them. The guests applaud and reporters take photos of the famous gangster.
The group go into Webb's office after Ray sweeps up Webb's ashes. Jeanie says that she saw Bugsy get assassinated, but the next day he showed up and acted like nothing happened. Now Bugsy is more ambitious and fearless, and Jeanie figures Bugsy will kill her if she tries to leave him. Sara suggests that Jeanie leave town for a few days, and Ray hands her a bankroll to finance her traps. Constantine has Sara show Jeanie out, and once Jeanie leaves Constantine says that Jeanie took him for a mark. Sara figures that they need to visit the Iguana.
That night, the Legends pick up Mick and Ava, and they all go to the Iguana. Ava and Mick set up at the bar, and Mick orders a beer and tells Ava to relax. Ray is outside posing as a police officer, ready to grab Bugsy when he comes out. Bugsy is meeting with politicians, and Jeanie comes in and kisses Bugsy. Jeanie sees Sara and Constantine and makes a hasty exit, but Sara and Constantine intercept her. The woman claims that she couldn't get far enough away from Bugsy so she came back, and says that Bugsy has a secret stash of blackmail photos he uses to get the politicians and police on his side. Bugsy used Jeanie as bait and is in the photos, and she can't leave without the photos.
Sara suggests that they give Bugsy a taste of his own medicine, saunters into the club, and catches Bugsy's eye. She sits down, and Bugsy sits with her and says that he likes the way she walks. Sara flirts with him, and Bugsy says that he takes what he wants. He admits that he's a thief, and Sara says that she's a reporter for a gossip rag. Sara tells Bugsy that she has blackmail material in her trunk and Bugsy should come out to see it.
When they get outside, Bugsy suggest that they go somewhere more private. Sara spots some men, and Bugsy says that they're Mickey Cohen's boys. He tells her that after he went through Hell, he's not afraid of anything on Earth. Cohen's men open fire on Bugsy with Thompson machine guns, but Bugsy shrugs off the bullets and fires one bullet from his gun. The single bullet kills all four men in a blaze of hellfire. Ray arrives and arrests Bugsy, but the real police arrive, tell Ray that they'll take it from there, and lead a smiling Bugsy off. Sara tells Ray that he's going downtown.
That night, Behrad's family has dinner. Zari talks about her line of sneakers, and Behrad's mother asks him if he has any girlfriends. Nate continues looking at Zari, who notices and tells Behrad in Persian not to bring home Stalkers. When he sees a painting of a family ancestor with the air totem, Nate notes it and Mrs. Tarazi asks how he knows about the family history. Behrad says that he was broken up when the totem was stolen, and quickly hides it on his wrist.
Sara and Constantine go to Waverider, and Sara tells Ava to stay at the club. Mick realizes that Ava isn't thrilled that she used to run a government organization, and now she works for the Legends, and Ava takes another drink. Meanwhile, Constantine figures that they can use Bugsy's gun to stop Bugsy.
At the station, Ray sees Bugsy paying off the police chief with money and a steak dinner. Another officer, Sullivan, also notices and complains to Ray that it's hard to watch the department kowtow to a gangster. Ray agrees with him and they introduce themselves.
On Waverider, Constantine suggests that he'll go out for fresh air, and notices a name and a number on the matchbook. Constantine goes to Webb's office and calls Jeanie to come over. They both figure the other is a fake, and Constantine asks what Jeanie's angle is. She says that she's going to take Bugsy down by destroying his blackmail stash, and Constantine says that he knows where the stash is. Jeanie asks what she wants in exchange, and Constantine says that he wants Bugsy's gun. The woman agrees to the deal, and Constantine asks how she plans to steal the gun. Jeanie says that she'll steal it when they kiss, demonstrating on Constantine. The two of them end up having sex on the desk.
At the Iguana, Ava drinks and tells Mick that she moved out of her place in DC and is a vagabond. Mick figures that she has the perfect life, and a drunken Ava bemoans how no one needs her to do anything. Sara calls in and tells them to create a diversion, and she'll draw Bugsy back to the club and get the gun.
Ray confronts Bugsy and the police chief, and says that he has to search Bugsy. As the chief objects, Ray gets a call. It's Sara, says that prime blackmail material is going down at the Iguana and he's better head there. Ray tells the others by radio that Bugsy is leaving the station with the gun. Constantine is posing as a cab driver with Jeanie in the back, and tells Ray that he has it covered. When Bugsy gets in, Jeanie kisses him and Constantine drives to the Iguana. Sullivan pulls up in his car and says that he's going to do something about Bugsy, and invites Ray to get in.
At the Iguana, Ava gets up onstage and does a lounge song about relationships. The guests leave in disgust, and Sara comes in and admires "her girl". Mick shows up and Sara tells him that they'll wait until Constantine gets the hell gun.
Constantine pulls up outside the club, and Bugsy hears the guests booing. He goes in and Sara defends Bugsy, and says that he's supposed to be dead. Bugsy admits that he realized information is the real power in the world, not violence. Sara tells him that it's her job to stop him, and Bugsy goes for his gun... only to discover Jeanie has replaced it with another gun. Sara takes cover and Mick knocks Bugsy out, and they decide to let the drunken Ava finish her set.
At the Tarazi house, Tari approaches Nick as he looks at a magazine with her on the cover. She says that she eventually took control of everything after starting out small. Nate says that they met in another life, and Zari figures that he's hitting on her and says that they're connected but something feels off. The "Nate" she remembers wasn't a professor, and admits she wants to make sure Behrad has been taking care of the family totem. Behrad comes in and says that they're cutting his father's birthday cake, and quickly escorts Nate out.
Constantine has worked out the name and the numbers represent a headstone in a cemetery. He goes there with Jeanie and they find Bugsy's blackmail stash in a briefcase. As he prepares to destroy them, Jeanie draws the hell gun on him and says that she's on her own side, nobody else's. She plans to use the blackmail material for herself, and with the briefcase she'll have real power. Constantine warns that if she takes the briefcase, she'll have a target on her back just like Bugsy. He suggests that she walk away, but Jeanie refuses to give up the power.
After a moment, Constantine says that Jeanie is right and gives her the briefcase. Ray and Sullivan pull up, and Sullivan says that they'll take care of the whole situation. Ray wonders what he means, and Sullivan says that Jeanie is collateral damage in his war against crime. When Ray draws a gun on him, Cohen's men tap on the window and aim their guns at Ray. Ray wonders why Sullivan brought him along, and Sullivan handcuffs Ray to the wheel and says that they needed a fall guy.
Jeanie gives Constantine the hell gun and leaves with the briefcase. As Constantine walks away, Ray honks the car horn to warn Jeanie she's walking into an ambush. When Constantine comes up, Ray yells a warning to him. He yells at Jeanie to stop, but she starts the car and it blows up. Ray frees himself and joins Constantine, and the two of them walk away.
Sara and Mick take Bugsy to the holding cell on Waverider. Constantine and Ray arrive and Constantine tells Bugsy that Jeanie is dead because of him. Bugsy says that Constantine created a real monster: Astra. Constantine draws a portal and has Mick shove Bugsy into the circle, then scratches his forehead and uses Bugsy's blood to cast a spell to teleport himself and Bugsy to Hell.
Constantine goes to Astra'a bar in Hel and shoots four bounces that get in his way. He aims the gun at Astra, who says that they're old friends. Constantine says that he's not giving up on Astra and lowers the gun, and promises to find a way to redeem her. Astra tells him that it's another meaningless promise and he's gone soft, and Constantine shoots Bugsy dead and says that he's not that soft. Constantine tells Astra that he'll see her around and returns to Waverider. He explains that Astra knew he was coming, and the hell gun is gone. Sara tells Constantine that they'll figure out another way, and Constantine leaves to get a drink.
Ray follows Constantine and says that if he had killed Nora when they thought she was evil, they wouldn't be happy and together. Constantine admits that he couldn't kill Astra, and Ray agrees and says that he's happy there's still good guys out there. The mage says that it was as much for him as for Astra.
Mick assures Sara that Ava won't remember a thing. Ava staggers in and drinks Mick's alcohol, and remembers everything. She insists that she was awesome, and asks if someone got a video. Sara hides the video that Mick took, and Ava says that it was fun working with Mick and she hates responsibilities. Ava passes out and Sara strokes her hair.
Nate tells Behrad that there's more to Zari than he knows, and Behrad warns that Zari is playing Nate. Zari joins them and realizes that Nate and Behrad were at Heyworld 24 years ago. She points out that they haven't aged, and insists that it's time to tell their parents the truth. Behrad teleports her onto Waverider, and Behrad introduces his sister Zari. Zari yells for help, and Ava starts singing.
