You'll perish of boredom

All around putrid film...Not spooky at all. Felt more like a soap opera. This movie has absolutely nothing good to say about it except for the fact that the main actress is hot.

Not Really A Horror Movie

And this one isn't really much of a thriller either. It's a movie about abortion and choice. It's a movie about who gets to make the choice, and what rights do the male parent and female parent have in deciding about the fate of an unborn child. That's really all it is. The horror element is irrelevant. It's not scary. In fact it's downright annoying as hell.

Really pretty bad movie. 3/10

What a disaster

Warning: Spoilers
Originally I gave this 2 stars, but after the twist near the end, I had to bring it down. Apparently if you have an abortion, it'll come back as a grown alien/human hybrid. There was no ending. Too many unnecessary elements were brought in. And it was more like a drama than a horror/thriller. Also, the gay best friend I could barely understand. He was either mumbling or his accent was too thick for me to hear him. And the soundtrack was the same 4 string instruments playing the same strings the entire movie. Don't waste your time.

The unborn still have a voice.

Irish director , Paddy Murphy debuted his first Frightfest feature with a great film that touches on a very interesting subject. Courtney McKeon plays Sarah who finds herself pregnant in a modern country (pre-vote Eire ) where abortion is still illegal. Alone after her boyfriend dumps her ,she travels to British to have a termination. Returning homeless as when her parent thrown her out on the street, she seeks help from a sympathetic friend. The story takes a horrific turn as the house she staying in is the site a mass grave for unwanted babies . The Irish people in general are still divided regarding the pregnancy terminations and this mirrored in the contrast between the views of Sarah's religious parents and those of her friends. The story covers elements that have impacted my wife's own family in regards of pregnancy and infertility. The film is not without some production flaws mainly due to budget restraints but the writing , performances and practical effect support a very strong script.
