CrimeThe piracy website had also leaked Mohanlal starrer ‘Odiyan’ and Hollywood movie ‘Aquaman’ soon after they were released.Tnm StaffTamil Rockers has done it again. Vijay Sethupathi’s latest movie, Seethakaathi, which released on Thursday, was leaked online by the notorious piracy website, despite the Madras High Court’s order to block over 12,000 websites that host pirated versions of movies. Before Seethakaathi, the website also leaked Mohanlal’s Odiyan and Hollywood movie Aquaman which had hit the screens early last week. The makers of the Rajinikanth starrer 2.0, Lyca Productions, had moved a plea in the Madras High Court before the release of the movie, producing a list of 12,564 illegal websites. A ban on Tamil Rockers would block around 2,000 websites operated by the website. Lyca’s counsel Vijayan Subramaniam contended that even if Internet Service Providers (ISPs) block access to Tamil Rockers, the website immediately creates mirror websites that continue to stream pirated versions of movies.
