Though judged to be an accidental death, ABC decided to shelve both the pilot and the series.
Was initially picked up for the 1966-67 TV season but dropped at the last minute. At least two additional scripts were written for the proposed first season (one by Ed Jurist, the other by Dee Caruso and Gerald Gardner), but these were never filmed.
