- A greedy unscrupulous mother pushes her family to live on the verge of total collapse in a Chilean town in the coast. Set in 2008, this story of damnation can be described as 'today's wrath of the Gods'
- A suspense drama art-house film that portrays the consequences of the wicked life of an adult greedy woman who wants to get what she wants no matter how, even if she provokes the total destruction of her dysfunctional family. An updated contemporary version of the classical Swedish tragic play by August Strindberg, adapted to Latin American life in a small town in the coast of Chile, during 2008. An intense 'wrath of Goids' story which is told backwards, like a narrative puzzle that goes into the past of the dreadful events which resides the core of the family tragedy.—Gustavo Letelier
- The film narrates the story of Lucia, the greedy mother who needs to feel young and attractive even at her early sixties. She will do anything to take care only of herself and destroy her marriage with her older husband Silverio, who rapidly falls on the abyss of death. The marriage's daughter Rebeca and son Antonio will pay the consequences of Lucia misconduct until the son decides to put an end to all such nonsense. During the wedding party of his daughter, Silverio finds his wife Lucia flirting and kissing Octavio, the ambitious son-in-law recently married to Rebeca. Lucia laughs at Silverio letting him know that she never loved him. She even dares to confess him that Antonio is not his son, but the offspring of one of her many lovers. On the verge of a depression, Silverio decides to leave his wife and the family house. Overwhelmed by the truth, Silverio rents a small room and his health declines soon. He doesn't want to have Antonio closer, his former beloved son. Silverio dies away from home, nursed by the children's nanny Margarita (60). However Lucia cares only about the inheritance. She is convinced that there is a letter with Silverio's last will hidden somewhere. She thinks that the man probably left good savings. The search of this letter reveals all the ambitions and lies of Lucia and the complicity of Octavio, who keeps living with Rebeca and flirting with Lucia only because he wants to get this cut of the wealth. Rebeca has discovered the affair that Octavio has with her own mother. Just like her brother, the daughter feels abandoned and destroyed. She asks Octavio to go away and he obeys full of guilt. Antonio easily convinces his sister that life has no further meaning to them. They put the house on fire and lock themselves in, keeping the mother with them.
