I don't usually write reviews but, as I saw nobody really rated the episode yet, I want to say something about this episode.
I'm a big fan of Legion and today's episode reminded me, once again, why I love Legion so much. The plot, the effects, the drama, the suspance, soundtrack, everything was perfect. If you haven't seen it, I recommend you do it as fast as possible.
As I said in the title, this was the best episode of the season so far, in my opinion.

Blue eyes

Every episode this season keeps progressing and outdoing itself! This episode featured insane incredible filled music and it should be noted that the music has been out of this world since season one till the end of part 5! It's another character. The music selection is even simply genius, I'd love to listen to the persons personal favorite playlist.
This episode is all about Aubrey Plaza and she outshines her performance from season 1 part 6 episode with this stunning delivery featuring blue eyes.
The addition of farouks actor has definitely added to this season and I felt the fun this part as he and Oliver finally had some back and forth that's been long overdue. "I'm going to kill you!" He smiles. But he may be smiling and later Oliver says "I know your weakness..." The olive skin cool, evil man that hides his eyes behind his too cool to touch shades, basks under the bright blue sky and sun beams smiling still.
This episode reminded me that soon it will be over and NOTHING-----NOTHING IS LIKE IT on TV!!!! Nothing! The only series I can think of that reminds me of this slightly is Utopia from the UK. People that have seen both may know what I mean. But this series is truly groundbreaking!
Lenny returns and ofcourse all is suspicious and assumed that she has come with strings attached to the shadow king. David jumps early reading her minds seeing a image and at the end we are shown why.
This was an emotional punch for David No Spoilers but I'm sure this will effect him greatly moving forward.
He was told by the shadow king that he had to choose from a future with the woman he loved or I guess the plague and something else. I'm guessing this is what drives him to feel rage and blind his love for syd which is why their not together in the future.
If we remember correctly...spoilers
Syd tells him that David bashes, at least the man that has shadow king host, head in the desert about a week ago her time. He asks her if hes alive and she says its complicated.
Things to think about with all these false misdirection possibly and we're even told by John hamm yet its impossible for me to not be captivated by the episodes.
I swear to you I am no fan boy or subscribe to superhero shows beside the punisher. This series of you watch the first 5 episodes will hook you. DO NOT LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!! I did and that's why June 4 I'm only on part 6 (about to be). This isnt as pretentious as people say. Theres just amazing visceral effects and style but THERE IS story I promise. I DO NOT watch shows without serialized plots. This is very cerebral however, so it may not appeal to everyone. For e.g. if you love Utopia chances are you'll like Legion. If you love to turn on your brain when watching TV and relax THIS IS FOR YOU.
This is groundbreaking and it's own genre as far as I'm concerned because I've seen so many series but none like this show! Please give it a shot! Theres a reason why FX renewed it despite the low numbers because its critically acclaimed and many people watch it in the age of cutting the cord.

I used to think this show was "smart" and "edgy". Now I'm just kinda thinking it's being written out of sheer whim. Like, "Hey! How messed up can we make THIS episode?". Something tangible needs to start happening. Psychosis can only keep me so interested.
