Watch this one on their channel, and it´s classic also, the experiments inside those walls were horrible, i almost felt sorry for the inmates, here we finally see what happend to the purifier and his brother inside the mental institute.

It´s a crazy deranged short movie, but it´s great.

I was pretty captivated throughout, although it did have it's clunky moments but not too many of them and they quickly worked their way out of them.

The cast did a superb job, the horror elements of the first movie, existed inside the institute.

Overall this was a pleasant surprise with moments of nail-biting suspense. Definitely worth the watch on a dark and quiet night.

The prequel of the call, is hell upon us all

I saw this prequel on CFT channel, were it all begins, with the mental institute, that has more criminals than mental patients, the doctors there torture them, without regrets, until our villains reveal themselves, and breeder gets out to free the masked killer, and all hell breaks loose, when the escape begins, the direction is great, the actors did a fine job, i have to congratulate the production designer, he a spectacular job, the underground of the institute is absolutely terrifying, it s a great short and i expect to see more in the future cause i think this franchise has much more to give.

All in all 7/10.

The Call duology and it´s prologue is director´s Rui Constantino´s baby, he brings us, this twisted tale of two brother that escape the institute only to bring chaos to Lisbon. This prologue brings to us their memories to life, horror, gore, hell. It´s all here.

Take your pills and watch it, cause it's a good time

So, i have to say it was suspenseful, intriguing, dramatic, thrilling and in a way horrifically ironic. You will understand what i mean, when the end is near. This is a tight film. You won't find yourself looking at your phone, ever. Hence, I highly recommend it. It's a great prequel, about the inhumane way the medical practice dealt with the mentally ill in the past, and this is truly shown in this short movie. it's an insane journey, inside of the institute, a Gothic thriller with a lot of chills. it's very well directed, i want to encourage you to watch it, if you're in two minds, you won't be disappointed.

A crazy tale of wonder inside the institute that show us the horror lived by the patients that live there, one of the best short movies about mental patients, and the crazy and deranged killers that dwelled inside those rooms.

A very scary movie, full of dark memories.

Loved it.

The origin story of the first portuguese franchise

I´ve bought the new remastered edition, and i have to say, that it´s even better than the original cut, it has 8 minutes of extended footage, that has all the gore, blood and guts.

We get to see the truth about the institute, because inside the walls, there´s much pain, the killer and breeder want them to pay, and they make a plan, to set the place on fire, and release all the crazy prisioners, that start killing everyone inside.

It´s a crazy origin story, with lots of torture and pain, but it has to be like this, so that it can evolve to the killer and breeder, preparing their demand against all defenders of the law.

The director does a great job, creating all this environment inside this horrible place.

There´s darkness inside the institute...

This is the first chapter of the portuguese saga The Call, from the mind of creative director Rui Constantino, comes an incredible prologue, that sets the events before the Purifier escaped the mental institution, we get to see Breeder as one of the inmates, and others like him.

They design a plan to get out of there, kill the enite staff, and torch the building in flames.

But some entity enters the body of the purifier and he does horrible things to the medical staff there, who made experiences with him and other patients.

It´s a true horror movie, for the horror fans.

It's a mad world inside the mental hospital

This is a decent film with some good performances, this prequel build the two villains very well, and now we finally understand, that there are two brothers living inside the mental hospital, ( the other brother was in feature of the call )but this one is really crazy, and has the influence of an entity that lives inside the hospital, crazy doctors, crazy patients, torture, blood, all this but with a very dark atmosphere, the only thing missing here, is more character development, that i think it was necessary to understand it better, but still is a cool short.

Insanity never gets boring, and the composers scored this with top notch performances.

Definitely worth a watch.
