Original and clever! Fantastic watch, had me on the edge of my seat through out. I hope this is not his only film, I have feeling he's just getting warmed up. The lighting was truly something special, I felt so relaxed as if I was in a trance in some scenes, yet undeniably captivated. An aspect of this film that got me however was the originality of the posters that were actually custom made, which I enjoyed thoroughly. The story sends a strong message in relation to the addictive personalities people possess in such a case; to paint that story in a modest light that isn't some flashy film set in Las Vegas with some high rollers touches many more than usual, as did it touch me. I will be at his next film without a doubt, he has left me hungry for more.

The film shows how a young, penniless student is drawn into the world of online gambling. The performances by the leading actors are brilliant; the likeable but hard-up student and his friend and housemate who mistakenly first lights the slow-burning fuse. The film is totally absorbing and one is left wanting more, wondering what happens later in the lives of those two protagonists. In just 11 minutes I really cared about the characters who were both very believable, felt empathy with their situation and wanted to see more. Excellent short film.
