Not bad till the last 20 minutes

Decent intriguing plot with the average LMFC acting. But the last 20 minutes were beyond absurd.

Good Premise, Bad Execution
Reel_Reviews23 May 2018
FIRST COMES MARRIAGE THEN A STALKER Civil attorney Sara Ross (Katherine Bailess) marries Leo Friedman (Damon Dayoub) to whom she was introduced to by her best friend Parker Wyndham (Ali Corbin). Shortly after the marriage, Sara is stalked by an unknown person. It's not long before the person phones Sara to tell her that Leo isn't who he seems. Feeling that Sara didn't believe her she shows up at Sarah's house. The woman is Melinda Wells (Tiffany Hines), Leo's wife. But when she married him he went by another name. After they were married he drained her bank account forcing her to move out of her nice home and back to her roots.

At first, Sara didn't believe Melinda until she, Melinda, shows Sara a picture of Leo. Melinda tells Sara that she has hired a private investigator to track Leo down but she can't afford him. Melinda gives Sara an address and time to meet Melinda if Sara is interested in joining Melinda in uncovering Leo's true identity.

DISCOVERY THEN REVENGE Sara discovers Leo's car at another woman's house when he's supposedly out of town. When she knew he was gone she visits the woman whose name is Cindy Steele, a model for an energy drink company. Sara tells Cindy everything, even about Melinda, Leo's first wife.

The three women with the help of the P.I. band together to find Leo. It's not before the P.I. tells and shows the women the body of his last wife he stabbed on their wedding night while she was still in her wedding dress. The women a!so learn of the various names Leo has used as well as the number of other women he has married.

This was another Lifetime Movie Network movie with a great storyline but bad execution. My main issue was the music throughout the entire movie. Not all movies need dramatic music to go along with the scene. This movie would have fared better without music being played during each scene. Whomever the engineer was on this movie needs another job for there were times the music was louder than the dialogue.

In addition, there were times when things didn't make sense. For instance, Sara would set the alarm at night, yet when the alarm went off she wouldn't hear it. I will admit the alarm sounded more like an alarm on a watch than an actual house alarm, which is another thing that didn't make sense.

The ending was off, as well. It seemed rushed to me. This is one of those movies, in the right hands, could have been really good. The right hands being better writers. As mentioned, this movie had a great premise, just executed badly and that's what they should have done to this movie, executed it!

All Characters Dummies
ladyberyl-128 May 2018
Warning: Spoilers
** SPOILERS** Typical Lifetime movie. Every character dumb as a box of rocks. Example: Bad guy is able to wander around the house with 3 women huddled together in fear. One hears a noise at night. Instead of awakening everyone, she wanders around alone looking for the source and gets killed. No one notices until morning.

Climax time: 5 good guys and only one bad guy. Good guy holds the gun hoping to get a confession. Bad guy gets the gun and hurts 2 good guys. 3 women run to find a phone (no one has a phone) and bad guy catches up. They slow him down with a kick and stab but instead of picking up the gun, they leave it on the ground and run so he can get up and chase them with it.

Watch only if you have nothing else to do while working out.

One Silly Movie

This one is a waste of time. I found myself fast forwarding through the last hour. The ending is so stupid. Don't waste your time.

I thought it was a comedy.
FinneganBear24 July 2018
It was so incredibly lame and insipid that I finally decided I must be watching a comedy. That would certainly have explained the bland acting, lame direction and outrageously idiotic script. So I checked the listing, thinking that this was actually a pretty clever comedy like Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig attempted (badly) to do a few years ago. But I was stunned to see that this was not intended to be a funny parody. A zero rating is even too high.

Beyond Stupid and Hokey to believe

Can't imagine a script and plot beyond simple and predictable. We want Our 90 minutes back but we did watch it until the end because it was like Watching a train wreck.

Some women know how to act so bad and this is it
ashleykane-7269212 June 2018
Warning: Spoilers
The movie is a lifetime release i get it but please cast decent actors who can at least be half decent in there acting. It is so lame this film that you can see every move coming and the end is utter garbage. The British model type girl is rotten in her role as is the lead performer that it hurts so bad. The main male lead actor is a typical type for these types of films but at least does a little better in his role. But in the end this is just another T.V. movie done with mainly females and proved they did not have what it takes to make you believe in this tripe.

So ridiculous!
jonipilmaier28 March 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This movie had so many errors in it! The worst one was at the end when he's strangling her and he's on top of her and she grabs a chain and kills him by pushing the chain up against his throat! Ridiculously unbelievable!

Lazy Scripting and Not Much Credibility
lavatch9 April 2019
Warning: Spoilers
There was a recent documentary that aired on the Oxygen Channel. It was called "Seduced By Evil," and it was the true life story of Derek Alldred, a gigolo and con artist who duped women and stole as much as $2 million of their money. There were as many as twenty-seven women whom the sleazy Derek met online, began a relationship, and then embezzled funds from their bank accounts and credit cards. The 90-minute Oxygen documentary program tells the story through interviews with the various women and film footage of Derek attempting to defend his actions

This Lifetime movie "He Loved Them All" (a.k.a., "Deadly Matrimony") is based on the same premise as the Derek Aldred case. In both instances, the viewer can only sit slack-jawed, asking how it was possible for all of these women to be suckered by a career hustler. In both cases, the "victims" were intelligent, well-educated, and enormously successful women who were so gullible that they entered into a serious relationship with Derek much too fast for their own good. There is an adage that states that if something appears too good to be true, then it probably isn't true.

In the true life story, a number of the women were cohabiting with Derek within a month of their first date. In at least one testimony, a woman accepted his marriage proposal within three months of meeting him. In multiple cases, the women had given Derek access to cell phones, bank accounts, credit cards, online passwords, and even their guns, within a matter of months after meeting him. These women were not courting Derek; they were courting disaster.

It was unfortunate that the filmmakers of "He Loved Them All" could not have taken more time in making the scenes and situations more believable. The film turned into a "thriller" where the women joined forces as vigilantes to stop the creepy Leo. By contrast, in the Derek Alldred story, the women united under the long arm of the law to send their man to prison for twenty-four years.

At least there was a bit of droll humor in the film. One of victims, a woman from the Bay Area speaks a droll line after her finances have been ruined by Leo: "I used to be from San Francisco. Now, I'm from Oakland."

Enjoyably over the top Lifetime thriller
phd_travel30 September 2018
Warning: Spoilers
This is one of the more enjoyable crazy Lifetime thrillers. The villain is a conman who romances women and takes their money. His victims get together but he goes after them. Things are quite fast moving and it's nice to see the heroine not clueless. Stay tuned for the ridiculously over the top ending.

DONT WATCH
corillastrong1 July 2018
ANOTHER stupid movie, where the women seems they are acting so blonde and stupid. When will the director make their own decision? I'd like to see a movie, where women act like they are acting in the real danger.

Had this movie channeled And Then There Were None or The Two Mrs. Carolls
CranberriAppl7 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
As well as Suspicion, it could have actually been a decent thriller. There's no slow build to anything and things become more of a mess as it progresses.

The main character/wife Sara allegedly changed the alarm code, but somehow the villain is able to get in undetected and commit murder. How? It's never explained. The villain is also able to get in her personal space and some others completely undetected. The villain also is able to lay in her bed while she's sleeping like a log. You have no idea where XXX is, you have strangers in your house, yet you are sleeping that hard? The person murdered was "famous" in their city, and yet no reporters, no police camped outside the house...and the "suspect," is allowed to go 30 miles away to a cabin. Huh? Lol

Another gripe I have with Lifetime is the body count. They don't always justify how or why these psychos (male and female) feel the need to kill. This particular villain somehow only has one victim to start and yet allowed his similar victims to be unscathed...until now. He just piles them up in quick succession. WHY? It's like they just piece together scripts and don't have someone be the "audience," to help with logic and continuity.

And of course it's Lifetime so the main inappropriately hooks up with her colleague, who yeah she has tension with but seriously? Your husband sucks but you are still married. Outside of a love scene that maybe didn't belong, the colleague didn't serve a purpose being there since he got hurt and didn't help at all. AND THEN (as I just saw) the villain somehow keeps getting in more places with alarms undetected! Do they call the cops? Of course not.

I'm a little under the half hour remaining mark, and a couple of characters are literally arguing about the villain as if it's just a matter of two-timing. Good grief! Oh my gosh, now they're all playing dress up in NEW clothes like this is a game. Is XXX dangerous or not? This movie is getting more ridiculous. I like how a gun is available in the climax and yet when three vulnerable women were alone (where one of them was murdered), nobody thought they needed protection. Like come on!

Now I'm cracking up! They all hide from XXX and one of their hands are poking from under a table and XXX finds her. How can a person being strangled also take a freakin dainty chain and strangle the person strangling her enough to kill them? Lol! Is this a parody? This movie is embarrassing.

This one gave me a headache
ryleilove24 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This movie was 4-star rating worthy until we got to the end and I got a headache watching this unbelievably horrid ending.

Woman marries man within after a few months of being together. Three months later she discovers he is not who he is. He is a womanizing bigamist who marries/dates women under false names and takes them for all they got, and has even gone as far as murdering a wife he's been married to for one day.

The woman joins forces with husbands other current wife and girlfriend. All three are in the house together with a brand new security code, yet husband was still able to enter the house ridiculously wearing a black wedding veil. Instead of waking up the other two ladies after hearing the baby alarm that went off, the girlfriend fearfully searches the big house all alone and is killed. I didn't even feel sorry for her. Why go searching on your lonesome after just seeing what this guy is capable of and literally being afraid he may kill you?

Skip to the end, you have four people surrounding this guy to confront him and get him to confess the murder. He in turn takes down every single one of them even killing one by tossing her off the balcony. I didn't feel bad. Then as he's choking the main wife, she miraculously takes him down by choking him back with a chain. Yea, very believable, ok, you got it. What an eye roller.

I appreciate the artistry and effort that went into the film and while the acting was subpar and the women made stupid decisions this movie could have been a 4 but the ending really p'd me off so it gets a 2.

Can't Review When Zero Stars Are Not an Option
gasket36024 January 2022
WARNING, WARNING, WILL ROBINSON:

The only reason I'm reviewing this is to warn others who might consider watching it. On the flip side I wanted to see another script from Jake Helgren and more from the actor Kate Bailess having watched Dashing in December ad infinitum (can't get enough of her dance with Juan Pablo Di Pace--wish that sequence was longer--they were brilliant together).

But I digress: back to the mess at hand: So, I realize that the path to stardom in Hollerwood is to just get your name out there and do things and more things--even if them things is baaaaaad. Even Lucille Ball had to kiss a lot of frogs as she clawed her way to the top.

In the Cast and Crew category, Ms. Bailess' topped the list. Going down the list of names and without exception all are in the "One Off" category. But not wanting to say anything negative about them, I still wish them well. Maybe they'll find their niche in dinner theaters across the land.

And the other thing: the studio that produced this ghastly "who-didn't-done-it" should be levied a stiff fine from the EPA for air pollution. And my Fast Forward and Mute keys? Let's just put it this way: I had to put new batteries in my remote after panning through this ghastly spectacle. If this one crashes and burns, don't bother going for the fire extinguisher.
