A great moment for both George and Aretha

A powerful music union between legendaries George Michael and Aretha Franklin, "I Knew You Were Waiting" is a magnificent song yet a quite underappreciated as song as well. It didn't chart here, it's bascially known by fans of the duo. As for the video, it's a nice concept where they are apart from each other, on different sets watching each other from a screen until the meet halfway through - unlike the duet she did with Michael McDonald in "Ever Changing Times" where they never meet (excellent song by the way). There isn't much to be added here except that I love this song, it gets into high spirits and plenty of positivism and joy. Two enthusiastic thumbs up to this beautiful moment. 8/10.
