Mumbai, April 17 (Ians) Actor Rajveer Singh Rajput, who rose to popularity with his role in the web series ‘Machhli’, recalled how he bagged his first-ever show, ‘Krishna Kanhaiya’ in 2014. He said that he is always thankful to the Almighty for giving him opportunities to be successful in the industry.
Rajveer said: “I started my acting career in an interesting way. In 2014, I went to meet someone on one of the sets in film city where ‘Krishna Kanhaiya’ was being shot. I met the casting director there and when I was returning he stopped me and offered me a role in his show.”

Actor Tarun Gahlot, who is known for his work in ‘The Test Case’, ‘Kedarnath’, ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’, ‘The Fame Game’, Ott series ‘Xyx’ and ‘Rudra’, has reunited with Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn in the latter’s recently released directorial ‘Bholaa’.
Tarun shared that he couldn’t shave his face for 7-8 months because his character required him to look manly.
Tarun, who is a Film and Television Institute of India (Ftii) alum, told Ians: “Ajay sir placed his complete faith in me for the part, it was his vision. I maintained my bearded look for 7-8 months for the sake of continuity of my character since the character was supposed to be very alpha and manly.”
He also heaped praise on Ajay Devgn as he said: “Ajay sir is very hardworking in fact, it won’t be wrong to say that he was the most hardworking man on set.

New Delhi, March 13 (Ians) Nimrat Kaur, who turns a year older on Saturday, is in town to celebrate her birthday with her family. The birthday party will be a small, intimate affair.
"I couldn't wait to be in Delhi. My naniji (maternal grandmother) is moving to a new house and I am celebrating my birthday there. She has already pre-booked that. It is going to be an intimate family affair this year. I have my parents here. So, I am being very careful and I won't step out much. We might have dinner. I am still figuring it out. I know it will be fun for two to three days in Delhi," she told Ians.
Her mom, she says, is someone who is very particular about watching her work and often gives good pointers on how she has performed.
"My mom has an incredible compass and a very acute vision of how something is.

The company has optioned the rights to the much-loved series of 25 novels written by journalist turned novelist H.R.F. Keating over a 45-year period. It intends to develop them as a multi-part returnable series. No details are yet available about the series’ development schedule, talent attachments or broadcast partners.
Dramatic rights were acquired by Endemol Shine India from broadcast agent James Carroll at U.K.-based Northbank Talent Management on behalf of Peter Buckman at The Ampersand Agency and the H.R.F. Keating Estate. Mumbai-based agency The Story Ink was the advisor on the deal for Endemol Shine India.
