This documentary was tremendous. It started out as and experiment with steroids, since a cyclist couldn't quite figure out why he was struggling, while other men his age who were just as fit seemed to excel.
He wanted to be safe with these drugs, but the doctors he was seeing started to become uncomfortable advising him, since it was borderline unethical. But, one doctor referred him to a doctor he knew at a laboratory in Moscow.
Upon meeting this doctor, the documentary goes somewhere entirely different. It ended up exposing a great deal about Russia's doping issues, reaching to Putin himself.
I was transfixed. My family is Russian, so thing that the Russians do "covertly" never come as a surprise to me. I'm glad the rest of the world got to see it. Trust me when I say , this is, was and will not be an isolated incident! However, I still managed e be surprised and shocked.
