Humans, the worst species.
lilifleischer6 October 2019
This is the best documentary I've seen in years. Although very painful, this is a movie that everyone should see, even kids so that they know what Australian people are doing to the most representative animal of Australia. A massacre without mercy. Thank you for making this documentary in the name of those species who can't speak for themselves but have the right to inhabit this planet as much as humans.

You can't handle the truth

Australians all must face the ugly truth of the kangaroo industry, its truly disturbing. I didn't want to watch it but I am glad I did. We all need to be informed. It's also beautifully shot with a great score and very interesting interviews. Highly recommended.

A difficult watch but an absolute must-see

A disturbing, thought provoking documentary that makes one re-examine perceptions and assumptions regarding Australia's lack of protection for this unique, indigenous animal and also to question why Kangaroo meat is still on supermarket shelves with such dangerously high levels of salmonella and e coli present. I am not surprised that this film has stirred mixed emotions for many in such a short time. A very difficult watch but an absolute must-see.

VERY biased few truths.

I grew up in the bush so was interested to see this movie. After the first 10 minutes I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Some of the "facts" were so far from the truth that I was stunned. The makers of this film must not have done any research before filming began or were more concerned with shocking the uneducated public. There was no mention of the fact that the Kangaroo population is now over 45 million. Yes some sub species are endangered due to introduced pests like cats & dogs. The industry is highly regulated with huge fines for breaches. I just wish the general public knew the REAL story. Not what was portrayed in this film.

Misleading and biased

This is not a documentary, this is a takedown of someone that clearly has a hidden agenda. Kangaroo meat is one of the healthiest for the us, for the planet and one of the only meat production systems where animals are not industrially farmed. Do your research because the claims in this documentary are just false.
