The documentary starts with very promising images of Indo-Pak partition. But within the first 20 minutes, one realises that the documentary appears more like a guided tour by the Pakistani army. The presence of men in fatigues is very evident throughout the documentary. The frequent praise of Pakistani army seems tutored. Little kids yelling "Long Live Pakistan" gives it all away.
Yes, the Pakistani army has suffered horrendously from the run-ins with the Taliban. But the most frequent message that stands out from this documentary is to that all is well in FATA district under the Pakistani Army.
The persecution of the FATA people and the general discontent among some of the people is not shown. Ordinary people on the streets never view their true opinion. Pakistan uses this medium to play the champion and the victim, yet again.
