Another episode of dealing with the issues. Kate seeing that the skinny girl she yelled at for not belonging at the meeting twice has a lot of issues as well was a nice story. Really well developed. Kevin dealing with his mother dating Miguel was also great. I liked the conversations he had with them in it, very well written. And I loved that little Clooney cat, not ugly at all! It made me feel really good at the end when we saw him being fed by a boy, so he found somebody too. Funny but I felt bad about this cat being left alone after William moved, now it is wrapped up

To Find Someone

The intro to the show with that mangy cat running through the streets with Billy Holiday's "God Bless the Child" playing is dynamite. Then we see a series of examples of characters needing each other in various ways. Randall picks up a box from his father's former neighbor, and in it is a beautiful romantic poem. He goes about trying to find out to whom it was written. When he does it is quite a surprise. Kate is talked into shopping for a wedding dress by Madison, the girl from her weight class. Things are revealed and appearances prove deceiving. Randall begins to find his new career in a rather outrageous way. Several very human stories.

Far-fetched episode saved by a clever ending

Warning: Spoilers
Overall this episode was a pretty average one, with some contrived plot devices serving to wrap-up some previous loose ends. Like, would Randall really travel to William's old building to pick up some belongings? And where did these belongings come from again? And what was the point of the cat in this story? However I love how this show builds on some minor elements from previous episodes, such as a big reveal for why Madison (a joke character previously) was really at Kate's meetings. And the episode was saved by a clever ending, whereby I can only assume that the missing batteries in the smoke alarm will not be helpful when Jack inevitably burns to death in the home that he built.
