A simple Agents of shield episode (just cut for 6 part for?)
bernathandras-1185915 July 2017
A simple Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode before season 4. If you missed you don't miss anything. An extra thing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and we can see what happen with the "inhumans agents" after Sokovia accords and nothing more. If you are an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. fan go watch.

Simple but still fun

If you're a fan of the show it's quick and a lot simpler than the main show but a nice little extra and plenty of fun to compliment the superior main show.

Bridging the gap
SHU_Movies6 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Not much really happened, but it was still enjoyable. It helped to bridge the gap in between Lincoln's death in Season 3 of the base show and the flash forward final scene of the Season / first eight episodes of Season 4. I'm going to over what I liked from each character in this (Elena: We don't really know tonnes about Elena so this really helped to make her feel more interesting. Of all of the characters in the show, it's interesting they gave her a mini-series, yet I'm not arguing) (Daisy: Chloe Bennet is so hot so of course I'm going to love her role in this) (Mack: It's great to see Elena and Mack's relationship grow over time) (May: May had a quite significant part in this and I like it. We haven't seen much of May and Elena in the show so far (I haven't seen past Season 4 Episode 9 yet)) (Fitz: My favourite character in Agents Of SHIELD. He seems so relatable in his actions throughout the show so far) (Coulson: The first episode showing Coulson really helped to bridge the gap. Its cool he's still kept the axe and it's also fun that he gave Elena Peggy Carter's SHIELD pin thing) (Mace: Not much about Mace is known yet, but I'd like to see more of him in the coming seasons) (Simmons: Yeah, she was there...)

Lousy
Bored_Dragon22 February 2018
Mediocre episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. which is for some reason split into six five-minute episodes and inserted as a mini-series between the third and fourth season. If one does not watch it all at once, it probably does not make any sense.

Nothing much to discuss. To my opinion, it was unnecessary. That's all.

I loved the original show so much, I has no less expectations for this mini spin-off show! I also adore Elena, her personality, her relationship with Mack, it's great!

Forgettable add-on to successful television series
Horst_In_Translation19 December 2016
Warning: Spoilers
This is "Slingshot", a mini-series that includes six episodes (at this point) and features characters from the pretty successful television show "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.". The focus here is on a character named Yo-Yo Rodriguez or actually Slingshot (played by Natalia Cordova-Buckley), so this one is named after her. We find out a bit about her connection to S.H.I.E.L.D. and also witness how she goes on a revenge trail where she fails quickly however and needs saving from a character named Quake that I found far more interesting than the title character to be honest. Episodes run between 3 and 7 minutes, so it does not take long at all to watch the entire thing in one sitting, easily under an hour in fact, even less than an episode of the series it promotes. But for me, somebody who does not know S.H.I.E.L.D., this mini-series did not get me curious about the original series at all and I don't think you have to have seen a series in order to be tempted to appreciate a spin-off/mini-series. So yeah, the main character did little for me and the whole thing feels very much style over substance as they rushed in so much in terms of action and excitement that it just doesn't feel authentic anymore at all. I give it a thumbs-down. Not recommended.
