Cuban-born single hit-star stinger Roberto Blanco hires senior patriarch Offergeld, who hands the odd case to maverick Falk, to sue amateur DJ Volker 'Volbeck' Becker, a bank employee and Roberto-fan, for recording a 'lame version' of Blanco's "Ein bisschen Spaß muss sein" which scores an instant hit, to prevent further performances, including one scheduled on TV. Daughter Sophie Offergeld stupidly claims the case without suitable strategy. Falk sympathizes with Volbeck's 'second chance' dream, like his restaurant ambition, but also with Blanco's wounded pride. Falk distracts Sophie with Becker's imaginary attorney Blankenstein, while making Blanco and Becker appreciates each-other's aspirations.
