Amazing episode
benvaughansanders3 June 2017
This was an especially excellent episode, I really loved the way it showed the views of different characters, really made you empathize with them. I really loved the minimalist approach, where you guys let the situations speak for themselves and did not overdo it at all. Achieved levels of empathy I have not seen in many other TV shows/movies. Thank you for this Aziz.

So unique

This was probably the most unique thing I have seen on any show where a ln episode involved the main character for just about 30 seconds and still manages to be fun and engaging and yet managing to have a deeper insight on lifes of people we tend to ignore. 30 minutes well spent.

Amazing camera work

In this episode, Aziz Ansari, who is a director and plays a main character, Dev, uses unique camera work. He does not focus on his main role, but other ordinary people. You can see some people living their lives, but it is not boring. the title of this episode, New York, I Love You, indicates how much they love the city even though they sometimes have to face problems. You don't wanna get spoiled so that I won't write anything about this episode, but you gotta see this!

This was like a great pilot of a completely different show.

Warning: Spoilers
I would have given this a 10/10 if it were a completely different show. This had some great acting and interesting characters. However, this is "Master of None" with the main character being Aziz Ansari's Dev. This episode had him for less than 30 seconds, with no importance to the plot, and was then based on new characters.

I was waiting the whole time for Dev to appear and have an actual interaction with the characters. Instead it seemed as if they'd had an idea for a different show or a short film so in order to make it they just put Dev in for a few seconds.

Great episode but it is not anything like a Master of None episode.
